Cinderella Hi I'm Anastasia the ugly step sister well.. I'm not really ugly it's my sister that is but we'll get into who I am later in the story. Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl named Cinderella but everyone calls her Cindy. My dad named King Andres has been seeing her mom named Derella for almost two years now and she really likes him. So he invited Derella and her daughter Cindy to a fancy dinner at are castle, and yes my dad's a king and me and my sister Drizella is princesses. But at the fancy dinner her asked Derella to marry him and she said yes. But although are parents and I were happy for them Drizella and Cindy wasn't. Drizella and Cindy doesn't get along because heard that Prince Charming was having a ball. He was having a ball because he was turning 20 and they were tired of seeing him lonely, so at the ball he planned he would find himself a beautiful girl to ask to be his wife. Drizella knew that she wasn't pretty like Cindy and she wanted to become Prince Charming's wife, and so did Cindy so it was always a competition to them on who's better. But anyways Cindy always thought that I didn't like her either and that I also liked Prince Charming because me and Drizella was always arguing about him. In reality we were always arguing because I would tell Drizella that I don't like being antisocial to Cindy just …show more content…
Prince Charming " Drizella said as her cheeks turned red and she started to smile. Drizella kept trying to get close to Prince Charming all afternoon but he kept moving away from her. When they got home King Andres and Queen Derella told all three of their daughters that they were going to go on a fancy dinner together, and that they could go to Prince Charming's ball that he was having. " I wish one of my lovely daughters get to become Prince Charming's wife " both parents said smiling. As soon as they walked out of the door I ran upstairs to get ready, I was so ready to

A young girl is forced to live with her step-mother and step-sisters after her father and mother die. She becomes the maid of the family, tending to their every need. Eventually there is a ball; she acquires a fairy Godmother, goes to the ball, falls in love with the prince, blah blah blah. All you really need to know is that she has a happy ending. A happy ending. No matter how much suffering she went through in her early years, at the end, it all came together and she had no more worries. And this is the problem. Cinderella is not realistic. It never was and never will be. Watching this movie when I was young made me believe there was a prince waiting for me somewhere. I grew up thinking that life was simple and uncomplicated, that I did not need to worry about the future because there was a man that would provide everything I wanted and needed. But as I got older, I realized this was not the case. I saw many of my friend’s parents divorce, people die, and the world fight with each other. My fantasy died off, and I realized I had to work hard for myself, and not others. The poem Cinderella by Anne Sexton made fun of the ending of Cinderella. She states, “Cinderella and the prince / lived … happily ever after … / their darling smiles pasted on for eternity. / Regular Bobbsey Twins. / That story.” (Sexton 11). Notice who she referenced and how she has a sarcastic tone. Cinderella and the prince smiled for others, trying to convince
The version in the United States is known as Cinderella. Cinderella's mother dies when she is young and her father remarries. The woman he gets married to has two daughters. They become Cinderella´s new evil stepsisters. Her sisters are jealous because she is very pretty and petite. They treat her very poorly. There I am lying, I am awoken by a bright shimmering, yet quite bothering light, I slide to my right to find my angelic husband Demetrious, he was breathing softly and faintly, I wrap my arm around him onto his buff body, and his eyes stare at me gracefully, I come to acceptance and find myself thinking how this happened, from hopeless back then, to happiest I could be, and all because of one man, he made me feel gloomy like when we first met, his eyes would affectionately stare deep into your eyes. His bright personality brightened up my day, that one special day, the most beautiful day of day, it was a sunny, warm yet quite balanced day, everything was going normally, then carelessly out the corner he came, Demetrious, and one problem was that he liked my hearty, hysterical good friend Hermia. Hermia had a generous and gentle personality, she had beautiful eyes and I was very fondly jealous of her, she got all the cute, boys that I always admired, yet one day things unexpectedly turned the other way around.

Jackson makes a point of romanticizing the courtship and wedding day of the sweetheart. The Princes devotion is the most romantic facet of the tale: “the Prince never left her for more than a few minutes”. The dreamlikeness of the atmosphere is emphasized: “the Princes Little Sweetheart was so flustered [when she was waited on by the attendants] she did not know if she were really alive and on the earth, or had been transported to some fairy land”. the gorgeous ball in which she was “floating”, plenty of gifts, gardens, “some new beautiful thing to see” (295) or do. Before falling asleep, the Princes Little Sweetheart said/ “ I shall never go to sleep in the world, and l 'm sure l don 't want to! l shall just keep my eyes open all night, and see what happens next ” (296). Her words suggest that the“Cinderella” story cannot be true but a

By now the conversation has almost become a monologue, Nicodemus only interjecting to allow Jesus to launch into further thoughts, but from a slightly different direction!
In "Cinderella';, the stepmother tries to make sure that one of her daughters is chosen for a wife by the prince at the ball. At first she tells Cinderella that she can go also even...
In his version Cinderella’s name is Zezolla, her father, the Prince, remarries a woman who hates Zezolla. In the story, Zezolla has a governess who cared for her and instructed Zezolla to kill her stepmother and convince her father to remarry her. She then turns on her and then surprises Zezolla with six of her own daughters who tease and call her “Cat Cinderella” (hence the name Cinderella). Her father then leaves for a trip taking gift requests for each of his seven daughters, remembering to get all but Zezolla’s. When ready to leave, the Prince’s boat would not leave the harbor because the captain had dreamed that the Prince has broken his promise to Zezella. He then told the Prince of his dream, which he fulfilled immediately. This is a completely different version than Walt Disney’s version I have been so used to. To me, this version of the story almost sounds like the story of The Beauty and the Beast, where Belle’s father goes off on a trip asking what Belle would like as a gift when he
Cinderella is a fairytale for children that displayed love, loss and miracles; however, when it is further analyzed, it has a deeper meaning. Cinderella is a story about a young girl who became a servant in her own home after her father remarried a malicious woman with two spoiled daughters. She was humiliated and abused yet she remained gentle and kind. She received help from her fairy godmother to go to the prince’s ball after her stepmother rejected her proposal. Cinderella and the Prince fell madly in love but she had to leave at twelve o’clock and forgot to tell him her name but she left her glass slipper behind. He sent his servants to find her and Cinderella was the only maiden in the kingdom to fit into the shoes. She was then free from her Stepmother and married the Prince. This report will examine the key events and the main character through an anthological, psychological and sociological perspective. The story of Cinderella demonstrated gender roles and family and marriage roles, Conformity and obedience and Erick Erickson’s theory and feminist theory.

Cinderella is the story of a girl whose father died, and her stepmother made her into a servant. The prince is throwing a ball, and Ella wishes to go to it. A fairy godmother appears and makes Ella’s rags into a beautiful ball gown, and gives her glass slippers. She goes to the ball and dances with the prince, but she must leave before the clock strikes midnight or until her gown will turn back into rags. As she is leaving, she loses a shoe. The prince goes through the city looking for her, sizing the shoe on each girl. Cinderella steps up and says that she was the girl, she tries on the shoe and it fits perfectly. Cinderella and the prince end up getting married.
While she is running away, she losses her glass slipper and the prince finds it and starts to look for her. Her stepsisters try to say the slipper fits them, but their feet are too big. Cinderella could not speak up and say it is her slipper because her stepmother locked her in a room, but she escapes with the help of her mice, and convinces the prince it was her at the ball. She does this by showing him the other glass slipper. Then, they get married and live happily ever
