List one goal you have in each category below and give a brief description of how you plan to obtain that goal.
1. Personal/Family- I have many goals, but one would be to overcome my shyness and be able to talk in front of a group of people, without letting my nerves get the best of me. How I plan to obtain that goal is to just practice talking in front of others. For example right now I am taking public speaking, so therefore I am getting some practice. A goal with family, is just I always want to have a close family, because it seems rare this day in time. How I want to obtain that goal is to always be there for my family and always be a good supporter when people have problems.
2. Caring/Giving- A goal

Radelet & Borg address the most common arguments for and against the death penalty, and how views on capital punishment have changed over time in respect to six specific areas: deterrence, incapacitation, caprice and bias, cost, innocence, and retribution.
Selah Saterstrom’s The Pink Institution is a novel set in the Deep South following the Civil War. It tells the story of a family over many generations from the point of view of the narrator (who is assumed to be the author of the novel). Saterstrom’s novel is considered to be a historic autobiographical gothic novel. Over the years, this novel has been the topic of many enthusiastic debates over whether the work is actually a novel or even gothic in nature. After reading and analyzing the work at length, there is no doubt that this work illustrates many themes found commonly in gothic literature.
In Plato’s “The Republic,” Socrates argues that education is key in creating a just state and a just individual. Socrates poses different views on the amount of education an individual needs in order to be an auxiliary, guardian, or philosopher-king. However, Socrates believes that the philosopher-kings’ education makes them more fit to rule as a just individual. While I agree with Socrates about the role that education should play, I do not agree that the education of the philosopher’s make better rulers than any other individual./

By using the S.M.A.R.T. goal system, you are able to make your dreams a reality, one small step at a time. The first step in reaching a long-term goal is to understand the S.M.A.R.T. the goal process. Simply using the words specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound can be a bit confusing. After a bit of research, I was able to better define the method. Using a S.M.A.R.T. Goal worksheet provided by Tatt (2012).
Primary Research To arrive at my final conclusions and recommendations, I did primary research to get information and data from the attendees of the church. My first primary research was a survey of church members done through Google Forms where they answered a set of multiple choice questions. The purpose of the first portion of the primary research was to clearly establish that Our Lady of Vietnam Parish lacks sufficient seats for all of its attendees, and that the lack of seating is a pressing, concerning issue that needs to be fixed for members in the future. The survey was done before and after Sunday Mass, and the questions asked were designed to gain information on the demographics of the church and to get opinions on the seats. For
My professional goals for myself are to succeed at everything that I do in my future career, also succeed at everything I need to get to where I want to be. My professional goals for my community is to do the best that I can to help everyone I come across who needs help and give them everything it is that I can offer them. My professional goals for my profession is to give the best care to everyone I help and never give up when things get hard.
My goal is the final destination of my financial success. It is to be able to pay bills without worry, be free of debt, have enough money for my kids to go to colleges and help other people with my financial resources.
...elieve simply writing these goals out will manifest themselves and I look at where I came from to where I am now and where I can be in the future. I am very enthusiastic about advancing both in academia and career wise above all I am excited about the positive affects my journey will exsanguinate to others clients, family members, friends, and colleagues. As these people will positively affect my journey too in my point of view most things are circular and transactional. We all contribute to each other one way or another.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well. Becoming a pharmacist is also a very important goal because I want stability in my job so that I can raise my family without major money issues. I also think it is very important for people to be healthy so that job would allow me to provide health care.
Secondly, I would want to maintain a good relationship with those who surround me(,) by doing so my future would benefit because I would have support and advice from the people who love me the most. My next goal is to help my community by helping stray animals that have no where to go(.) to be able to reach this i would need to funraise as well as be financially available(.) i would need help from other people who have the same dream i do. FInally(,) the fifth goal is to be active i would like to have my own gymnastics/ dance company(.) i loved doing this when I was younger and i would invite children from public schools to have this after school
Name everything from who is involved to what, where, when and why you want to accomplish the goal. Your goal must be clear and well defined. Generalized goals are unhelpful because they don’t provide sufficient direction. Remember, you need the goals to show you the way.
