Welcome to my presentation. My names Ali Adam and today I am going talk about the benefits of technology in businesses.
Modern technology has benefited most businesses in many ways. Thus, people set a work of many locations and can do their job from distant. The communication options have expanded and allow information to be shared faster and more easily than traditional business. Yet some people argue that modern technology in business might not be safe. Today I am going to argue that modern technology has brought significant changes in the business world. Firstly, I will show that technology makes storing information easy. Secondly, I will show that technology has Improved Sharing of Information. Thirdly, technology reduces business costs. Finally, technology makes marketing campaigns better.
So, to my first point
Business has been facilitated by modern technology in recent years. People are highly motivated to store private information for customers in different ports in the computer. The information can be retrieved in in a second when needed for further procedures. However, the loads of the files that stored in the computer do not affect devices to operate in a proper way, so, that means it reduces the amount of paperwork. According to smallbusiness.chron.com, Technology eliminates the need for double or triple entry systems and reduces the need to file large amounts of paperwork. Now, contracts and customer information can be stored in virtual data warehouses and accessed in minutes, which cuts down on the need to purchase or rent storage space. Obviously, technology helps business to ease the method of storing information and return for advance process. Thus, it is clear that business has been enhanced by technolog...

The reduction of business costs and better marketing campaigns. Here are my References. Thank you for listening, are there any questions?
I will be researching and analysing the major changes that have taken place in the technological environment over the last ten years and explore how they have affected business practice. I will also be discussing how these changes have implicated on the Public Relations Industry.
Information technology has advanced in multiple ways in society, where organizations has implement the structure into their work environment. Industries have outsource their manufacturing to other places in the world and rely on telecommunication to keep the marketing. The geographic distribution has changed significantly by reducing the distance it takes to complete an operation, due to information technology. These are just a couple of examples of how this advanced technology has reshape our society and continuing.
Analysis of an Advertising Campaign We are swarmed by advertising. Companies constantly battle to compete for the sale of their product. Adverts appear in every form of media including radio; television; Internet; billboards; newspaper; flyers and magazines. The advertiser wants us to buy their product above their competitors. The basic aim of advertising is to convince the target audience that their product is the best in the field and superior to the other products of similarity.
The downside to TV, radio and print marketing is the cost. All these channels come with a high cost, although people who enjoy ads often prefer these traditional channels to some of the below channels.
Furthermore, another benefit is that the new products enhance communication and transportation at a global scale. In the past, communication and transportation were a major issue causing lag in businesses and individual affairs. Through constant development of new products, people are able to communicate through the touch of a screen and information is readily available at the tips of fingers. “We live in a society built upon convenience” (Gerlach B. 2010), and it is becoming more convenient by the day with new age technology.
With the growth of technology it allowed for the growth of available information as well as advanced ways of communication. The initial intention of computers and technology was to serve the working or business class, to help companies create better products for their consumers. Next, the tools that were previously only used to facilitate businesses then started becoming more domestic, little by little people and families began owning desktop computers in their homes .By innovating t...
Business today is inextricably intertwined with technology, from the smallest home office, to a multinational corporation with multiple monolithic legacy application. It is impossible to be in business today without confronting the issues of technology. The way we do business today is different than 30 years ago. Technology has evolved around the areas of telecommunication, travel, stock market, shipping even around our daily lives. E-commerce a system by which people can buy, sell and deal without even seeing the person on the other side has taken a front seat in improving the economy of countries around the world. Technology today has made it possible for monetary institutions to help locate the customers resources and help solve their problems at any given time through online banking. The Internet, a boon to all business, is playing a part of a catalyst; it links millions of customers to its suppliers and vice versa due to this, manufactures are able to cut the role of middlemen and are able to deal with the customers, giving them the ability for direct input from the customers about their choices and views of their product. The Effects of Advertising and Media on Society Advertising is an important social phenomenon. It stimulates consumption and increases energy consumption. economic activity models, life-styles and value orientation. Consumers confronted with extensive daily doses of advertising in multiple media. With the continual attack of marketing media, it is presumable that it will affect our individualism and society as a whole.
Nowadays, advertising is a very big business. Very often is the major means of competing among firms. Furthermore, supporters of advertising claim that it brings specific benefits for consumers.
Communicating with anyone in the world continues to get more efficient every single day. Technology has made communicating faster and in better quality. Business meetings can now be held with people anywhere in the world, at any time during the day, over a video call. Business people are also using email so much more than they are the telephone because of the efficiency. People do not answer a phone call when they do not know the number that is calling them. People will answer an email much faster than calling back a person who has left a voicemail for them.
Advertising can mean many different things in today’s world. When advertising first was developed it was done by would of mouth and the classic flyer or poster, which is the traditional media. Then it moved up to using broadcast media such as radio to help capture a bigger audience. After that it moved towards the television where an even bigger audience could be reached. Lastly companies started to realize the shear amount of traffic that was generated by the Internet.
There is no doubt that the present time is the Technology era when the use of technological inventions dominates all different aspects of life: computer, cellular phones, world wide web, radio and satellites. That is, technological inventions have improved. Storing information, sending and receiving messages, electronic governments, distance education, health services and business. With the intervention of Information Technology, the means of communication in business which is a very important field in modern societies including banking, shares market, marketing, trading has been intensely changed. This essay will argue that Information Technology has positively changed communication in the business world. Information Technology implications have enhanced the ways businesses communicate in business areas including marketing, stock market, shopping and banking.
Advances in technology have changed businesses dramatically, in particular the communication and information technology that are conducted in firms, which changed the appearance and pace of businesses over the past few decades. ICT in particular, has evolved a lot over the past 30 years; important information can be stored in computers rather than being in drawers enabling information to be transferred at a greater volume and speed (Guy, 2009). ICT has also expanded various forms of telecommunications and workload conducted in businesses, internet examples of this include: e-mails can be used to communicate with others...
Technology has changed modern society drastically, both positively and negatively. Technology has influenced every aspect of our life, making it simpler but not necessarily better. Albert Einstein was concerned about the advancement of technology. "I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction."1 Undoubtedly, what has changed the most are communication, the spread of information, and how business is practiced. Consequently, practically everyone knows how to use a computer, connect to the Internet, or use a smartphone. This is demonstrated by the way the Internet is used daily by millions of people to communicate, to sell, advertise, retrieve, and share information. Thanks to the Internet, information from anywhere in the world is at our fingertips. As a result, the advancement of technology has changed our life in many ways including; sharing of information, communication, business, education, social interaction, simplifying everyday tasks, replacing basic skills and jobs.
The biggest and easiest seen change that computers have had on today’s society can be seen in the workplace. Before computers became an office tool and were made available to the average employee, paperwork and sharing information in an office setting was done by many different individuals constantly filing and looking up figures. Now a computer can store large amounts of information that is readily available to virtually anyone with the click of a mouse button. One person can complete a job that in a time before computers would take many. Computers have made file cabinets and libraries almost obsolete. Businesses can share information nation or even world wide in a matter of seconds. For example, a word document file can be sent from an office in New York to an office in Los Angeles in under a minute, in the past this same information would have taken a week to be sent through the mail. Computers have changed the way that factories are run too. On an assembly line, before computers every job, no matter how easy or difficult, had to be done by an employee. Now, however, computers run machines and do most of these tasks.
