Estella may be mostly known or remember as Pip’s crush. Her, like Pip, was introduced to the novel as an orphan child who was later adopted by Miss Havisham. Given her the name Of Estella Havisham. Pip and Estella, besides being “lovers,” they had other stuff in common, too. Both were orphan but each had one different story. Pip’s parents died and therefore, he was raised by his sister and her husband, Joe. And on the other hand, Estella was well adopted by wealthy Miss Havisham. She was raised to become lady, but not only that. Miss Havisham turned her into a heart breaker “machine.” Miss Havisham's “plan” on Estella was definitely negative, for her and for many. In which “plan,” I mean that Estella is controlled by her mother most of her life. She is a victim of Miss Havisham's behavior caused by her wedding getting ruined. Estella basically could never feel what love really feels like, she learns not to love. Rather, her mother turns Estella into a torturer who breaks men’s hearts. Since Miss Havisham was left at the altar on her own wedding day, in revenge, Miss Havisham raises Estella to break the hearts of others. …show more content…

Pip meeting Estella marks a turning point in his life. He became part of Estella’s life since he spend years with her a Miss Havisham as a companion. Estella, being created to break hearts, she criticizes Pip is so many ways. She criticizes him to the point Pip is dissatisfied in his point in life.
