The Miranda rights are the certain rights a suspect has when taken into custody. The Miranda Rights include: the right to remain silent, the right to an attorney, anything you say can and will be used in a court of law. The Miranda rights were established after the Supreme Court case called Miranda v. Arizona. Ernesto Miranda was under questioning by police and he confessed that he kidnapped and assaulted a woman. Ernesto was convicted of the crime in court because of his confession.
