Milton Hershey was a man who wanted to create a company that made good delicious chocolate. Milton Hershey had workers working hard and making their way to being the best company that sold and made tretas. His company had been through lots of challenges and also went through hard decisions. Milton Hershey gave up lots of important and special things to be the best.
Milton Hershey started a company called Hershey which was his last name. He hired workers to help him make his chocolates and candies. Milton Hershey was working on a chocolate treat and couldn't get the right ingredients and the right way of how to make it. Milton Hershey created his company in 1880. Before the Hershey company he had a caramel company and he was creating lots of candies and chocolates. Milton Hershey then gave away the caramel company and created the Hershey company in 1990 for 1 million dollars. If he didn't meet the goal of creating the Hershey company then his business would go down and end. Before Milton Hershey sold his caramel company he bought some chocolate making equipment and he got it shipped to his caramel company. Hershey Milton created a tasty chocolate but he wasn't satisfied with how it came out. He wanted to make the chocolate lighter and creamy. Once he found the missing ingredient which was milk the chocolate was light and creamy. He wanted to keep this a secret so no one would know how to make it and that he could be the best making chocolate company in the nation. Once Milton Hershey sold his caramel company he bought 1,200 acres of Pennsylvania farmland and after he build the world's largest chocolate factory.
In 1915 Milton Hershey made the nickel bars chocolate. They were the number 1 candy in the nation. Milton Hershey also had to make more chocolates and candies to get to be the number one candy in the nation. When people would visit his company people would say that they loved the breeze of chocolate. The workers would be working on the chocolate and when people went in they could smell the chocolate the workers were working on. After he became the best company or almost the best company Milton Hershey decided to make a new type of candy so his business wouldn't go out. Milton Hershey had made the reese's bar and to make his business go up he decided to make reese's pieces. The new hit movie ET wanted a good chocolate creator so they asked MARS candy to be started on it. The candy company said that they didn't want to be on the movie because if the movie wasn't a hit the company exposure would go down. After MARS denied the offer they went to Hershey. Milton Hershey took the deal and the movie was a hit. People loved the movie and the appearance of the new chocolate. People saw the chocolate was appeared the Hershey company became more popular. The Hershey's company became popular and the best chocolate company in the
nation. If MARS chocolate didn't deny the offer then they would of been the best chocolate company. MIlton Hershey going through all of the challenges and the hard decisions he became the best chocolate company in the nation. The problem that Milton could see with his father, was that he was bursting full of ideas, but he had no money, and was growing older as time went on.
