According to todaysmilitary.com, “The U.S. Military consists of five active-duty Services . . . The Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air-Force fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense (DoD). The Coast Guard reports to the Department of Homeland Security during peacetime and DoD during wartime.” All five of these Services are vital to our country and deserve to be recognized for how they help create a safe country for us Americans.

The “SEAL” actually stands for sea, air, and land teams. A Navy SEALs job starts with extensive mental and physical training in order to make sure everyone is fully prepared and ready to be an actual SEAL. According to Navy.com, some of the Navy SEALs job include, “ Conducting insertions and extractions by sea, air or land to accomplish covert, Special Warfare / Special Operations missions, capturing high-value enemy personnel and terrorists around the world, collecting information and intelligence through special reconnaissance missions, carrying out small-unit, direct-action missions against military targets, and performing underwater reconnaissance and the demolition of natural or man-made obstacles prior to amphibious landings.” As you can see the training that is needed for SEALs in order for them to do their jobs is very extensive which is why they are known as the “elite” …show more content…
The Marine Corps are separate from the Navy; however, the Marine Corps don’t have certain jobs like medics for instance so specialized medics in the Navy aid the Marine Corps. The basic Marine is amphibious, which means that the warrior is capable of fighting on land and sea. In the conclusion, three attributes are important elements that form a profession in the Army. Soldiers become better leaders because of their well trained and educated. Soldiers are more expert on what and how to do the jobs. Army also learned from mistakes and developed concepts to earn the trust back from people. Moreover; Army adopt values to shape its structure
PMSCs will no doubt continue to be an important part of our armed forces. They can provide much needed services for our troops, but if left unregulated their actions may have repercussions that endanger our troops. The extent and effectiveness of their role must be reevaluated and limits must be placed on their actions to prevent further political strains and financial waste.
Being a military member in the armed forces across all branches will have a positive and negative impact in both personal and professional areas of life. All military members take the oath of enlistment before they join it is a requirement before attending basic training. What most service members do not realize is that they are completely oblivious to the road that lies ahead of them. Most people join the military for a number a personal reason such as money, education, and a sense of stability. Others may join the military in hopes of being a part of something greater than themselves, they may see it as a chance to serve their country. The United States Army Chemical Corps is often times looked upon as an irrelevant asset to the Army as a whole. Although there may be times that this thought process may seem justified because there may be no current threat, there are some aspects of the military that use Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) forces as a mission accomplishment necessity. The Special Operations Forces currently use two well-trained CBRN elements that are assigned to each Special Forces Group (SFG): The Chemical Reconnaissance Detachment (CRD) and the Chemical Decontamination Detachment (CDD) (Redesign Concept, pg4, para 1-3).
