Albert Einstein had once said, “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value." Born in the city of Clinton Township, Michigan at St. Joseph Hospital on July 18th, 1993, Miles Drobot began his journey through life. Miles was born to the proud parents of Melissa and Tobias Drobot and grew up in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. As a single child, he exclusively attended L’Anse Creuse Public School District up until his senior year of high school. Once he had graduated in 2015, he would soon after pursue his college education. Having a passion for computer programing, Miles began attending Wayne State University shortly after high school in 2015, but he had only attended for one month, due to the high tuition costs the school had to offer. After taking a year off of school and working to save up money for his future home, Miles then moved to Orlando, Florida in 2016 with his girlfriend of six years, Miranda, where they had spent one whole year there together. Macomb Community College full-time in the fall of 2017, which just ever so happens to be his favorite time of year, at a much more affordable rate. Aside from school, Miles is currently working full-time at the Clover Leaf Bar and Restaurant in Eastpointe, Michigan and is going on two years as a hard-working kitchen manager. In Miles’ leisure time, he enjoys relaxing at home binge-watching his favorite television shows Black Mirror, Stranger Things, and Orange is the New Black while cuddling up to his black cat, Mr.
Bigglesworth. His girlfriend, Miranda, had found the poor animal wandering the streets and decided she would bring the sweet feline into their warm, loving home. Miles also enjoys watching his favorite hockey team of all time, the Red Wings, and attends regular hockey games at the new Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The Red Wings are well-known for having won the most Stanley Cup championships in the United States. He also loves to go out and explore new sushi bars and also admires art. More specifically, he enjoys creating his own watercolor paintings, which he has actively been taking an interest in for nearly a year
now. In the next week, Miles will be giving a three-minute long presentation in regards to painting, in which his classmates will record a video of him so that he will later on have to watch his presentation and make note of the preventative actions he may need to improve on. With Miles working and going to school full-time, he is also trying to save up money for a new car. About four years ago, in 2014, he had totaled his car in a car accident. He is now hoping to use his tax return money to purchase a new vehicle. Miles would prefer to find a blue car with a classic interior that is not only safe, but also affordable for the present-day college student. Self-driven education will be the key to success for Miles Drobot. The young, 23-year old must consistently have great work ethic and determination to achieve his life-long dreams. With his family and girlfriend at his side supporting his every move, Miles hopes to accomplish the best in life and will continue to pursue his dreams and aspirations to establish a memorable legacy. Life may have its obstacles, but no obstacle will stop Miles Drobot from attaining the unreachable.
David Nelson Crosthwait Jr. is one of the lesser known inventors. He’s the designer that made the heating system for the spectacular Radio Music Hall and Rockefeller Center in New York City. Crosthwait was born on May 27, 1898, Nashville, Tennessee and died on February 25, West Lafayette, Indiana. He went to school and grew up in Kansas city, Missouri. Although the belief that it’s impossible to become a strong, productive adult if one had an abusive childhood is prominent, I firmly contradict. There are numerous characters in literature and people in modern times, who have overcome their youth challenges. To be a strong grown-up doesn’t necessarily mean to be successful. Being a powerful adult can also mean having good morals, and being gracious even when struggling through life obstacles. I think Darrel Curtis is a Static and round character. Darry does not show a major realisation throughout the book and that would make him static. Ponyboy thinks that Darry does not love him but in fact he has showed it throughout the entire book it’s just in his own way. “I didn’t think! I forgot! That's all i hear from you. Captain Phillips is a movie about the true story of the 2009 Maersk Alabama hijacking. Richard Phillips was the captain of the container ship and was ordered to to sail through the Gulf of Aden to Mombasa, Kenya. Aware of the pirate activity off the coast of the Horn of Africa, he and First Officer Shane Murphy order strict security precautions on the vessel and carry out practice drills. During one of their drills, they are chased by Somali pirates inside of two small boats. The pirates soon are able to board the boat and take control over it. In command of the pirates is a man named Abduwali Muse. While on the ship, Phillips tells his crew to hide in the engine room and allows himself to be captured. He offers Muse $30,000 that was stored in the ship's safe, but Muse's orders was strictly to ransom the ship and crew in exchange for millions of dollars of insurance money from the shipping company.
