I have the freedom to game in America. My favorite game is Midnight Club. First, I raced Trevor in my favorite race “Welcome to Hollywood”. I like Trevor because he is a guy with shades. In America, I have gaming choices and the freedom to participate in gaming interests. I devoted all my energy to the game. I hate Lester because he races for pink slips that means if you lose the race, damage out, or quit then Lester takes both cars including your car. My character is the Street King. His racing overall is 100. I anticipated of beating him. Brooke is my friend in Midnight Club. He gives me important information about missions. In order to increase my rep., I have to race competitors. Then there are missions we have to race in low riders,
Some race fans would love to have an opportunity to be a part of a race team. If you receive a great opportunity to do a job you have been dreaming about, then you should take the opportunity. If you don’t take the opportunity that you received, then you don’t know if you will ever see that same opportunity. 22 year old Cody Higginbotham has been receiving many great opportunities since he was 12 years old.
In my creative writing project for English 9, I chose to make a series of six letters between two characters from the books Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and Son of the Mob by Korman Gordon. The two characters I chose were Romeo Montague from Romeo and Juliet, and Vince Luca from Son of the Mob. In the letters, I have the two boys talk about their lives. As Romeo is dead already, I have the two boys focus mainly on Vince’s life. Romeo offers countless pieces of advice on how to help Vince deal with the problems of dating the daughter of his father’s worst enemy. Throughout the conversation, the two boys become close each other, brought together by the problems that they both share experience in.
Nobody understands what really took place that night, the night that John Brown launched his raid on Harpers Ferry. Why it was done, what caused it and what the actual event itself caused was later discovered and well known by people centuries after it even took place. This raid, was one of the biggest reason a nation was left divided. The Southern part of America was its own “nation” where as the Northern part was thought of kind of as the same but opposite. “Midnight Rising” gives an in depth explanation and feel for the events leading to and the events caused by this raid. The book is based around the time period pre civil war ( circa 1859), In the first part of the book and overview and a little bit of background information is provided. Explaining where and when the raid was being planned and where it was going to be executed, and all of this being told through the perception of one of John Browns men .Prior to this event, Bleeding Kansas had happened and it caused an immense amount of outrage, blood shed, fear and frustration amongst almost every single person part of the U.S at the time. Nat Turners rebellion caused an uproar filled with fear, in the south and that was one of the things that had led up to the main event discussed in the book ( the raid on Harpers Ferry). During the time period the book took place, the southern part of America was pro slavery where as the North was not, and due to these discrepancies neither side could or would compromise and neither would be able to come to any sort of agreement on what to do with laws and rules and with the slaves either. Events such as Nat Turners Rebellion are what caused people in the south to become more fearful of slaves
