Most of the time, a person who founded the company is the face of the company. What if there is more than one cofounder of the company? Then who is the face of the company? Bill Gates was one of the best management leader of his time. Cusumano, Michael said that “Gates built and led, for more than 30 years, one of the most successful technology companies in history, and Microsoft’s products touch nearly all of our lives every day. In 1982 he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma (Kirby 15). Was this the only reason why he quit working with Bill Gates and Microsoft? In this book one of the thing he talk about is his exprent work with Bill Gates and Microsoft. In his Interview with Kirby, Jason. Kirby ask a quson, “Why is it that tech companies seem particularly prone to these types of ownership battles among founders?” and Paul Allen said that “It all just depends on the personalities. One person may be more drawn to the public side of something, so as it grows that role expands. Whereas the technical role expands too, but not as much. When that happens you get an interesting dynamic.”(15) I thing that he was trying to say that Gates was more interested in publicity, so he want it to do everything his way, which frustrated Allen because he did not get his right but he was equal part of the
