"I can't believe this, the teacher had to have her child now, first day of school" thought Michelle Rosenburg, a 33 year old substitute teacher, who now is on her way to Layolane Academy. Once she arrived, and completing all the paperwork she was sent to her classroom, and instructions on what to do, and what to say when the students ask where the teacher is. Michelle was freaking out, her first day as a substitute, and she had to deal with the first day of school, her anxiety was getting to her, but she breathed and calmed down.
Soon the bell rang, and all the students flocked to thier classrooms and once everyone was in the classroom, attendance was taken and then a student sitting in the front of the class raised his hand and asked a question. …show more content…

Donaldson" the student asked.
"Well Mark, I was about to get to that, you see, your teacher Mrs. Donaldson, had her child just a week ago, so for a while she will not be here, but for today she wants us all to get to know each other" Michelle announced to the class.
After this, the class decided to at first participate in what get to know you activity the class was doing but eventually, the class lost intrest. Michelle tried to get the class back on track but she did not prevail. Not until a student came up to her.
"Ms. Rosenburg, your going at this all wrong, your trying to be nice, but what this class, mostly full of delinquents who don't care about a lot like Mark need is a teacher who is strict" the student said to her
"Thank you, Amy" replied Michelle as the bell rang and class was dismissed. Now the same thing happened over and over again, she wasn't being respected, so the next day, she was assigned to go back, and she was going to be more strict.
Once class began the next day Michelle, after doing attendance became more strict, yelled more, punished harder and actually intimidated most of the students, except for
