an American songwriter, singer and dancer who was the most popular in the early and mid-1980s. Michael born in August 29, 1958, in Gary, Indiana and died in June 25, 2009, Los Angeles, California. Michael Joseph Jackson is known by "Michael Jackson". His mother was a homemaker and her name was Katherine Jackson. His father "Joseph Jackson" was a guitarist. In the early of 1960s, he molded his sons into a musical group because he was believing that his sons have a talent. In fact, Michael was the seventh of nine children in his family, some of his siblings are musicians too. For example, one of his sisters "Janet Jackson" is having an extremely popular musician name in the music manufacturer in this country. Jackson was joining the group of Jackson Five before he becomes a Solo singer that formed in 1964. Jackson Five group is a group of singers that comprises his own family. Michael joined his siblings when he was at the age of five, and emerged as the group's lead vocalist. He indicated astounding extent and profundity for such a youthful entertainer, inspiring gatherings of people with his capacity to pass on complex feelings. His older brother "Marlon" became a member of the group, which improved into the Jackson 5. Michael and his siblings spent a very long time polishing up their work. The Jackson 5 develop themselves and built a very strong following. Indeed, they recorded one single song by their own; which was "Big Boy" song, but they failed. The members of the Jackson Five group were “Jackie Jackson (byname of Sigmund Jackson; b. May 4, 1951, Gary), Tito Jackson (byname of Toriano Jackson; b. October 15, 1953, Gary), Jermaine Jackson (b. In fact, Even after the death of the King of Pop, but his Fresh voice and his beautiful words of his songs still stuck in our ears. For example, "Heal the World" song is one of the most beautiful songs that I ever heard. Perhaps her words may be simple, but they contain a lot of deep meanings. This song touched my heart and touched my soul too.
Heal the World is a song that released in 1991 from the Dangerous album. It discharged on November 23, 1992 and it was recorded on December 15, 1989 to October 29, 1991; which is spent almost two years. live. This song leads us into a deep emotional feeling.
This song has inspired Jackson himself to the creation of a charitable organization to improve the lives of children in 1992 and dubbed "Heal the World Foundation". (Heal the World Foundation.2014) The purpose of this Foundation is to help children. Such as provision of necessary medication for children with illnesses and the fight against hunger in the world. In fact, this Foundation is working with local and national organizations set up for the exchange of expertise in the provision of necessary services for children in need. In addition, Jackson's Foundation donated an expensive amounts of money for many of the child care and hospitals and schools in all over the
world. According to the song lyric, Jackson beginning with a nice phrase. "There’s a place in your heart and I know that it is love". (Ruben.2015). In this phrase, Michael explains the meaning of the word "place" with the phrase "it is live" that he used it in the next phrase. So, I realized that the place in our heart is love. On the other hand, I recognized that he used metaphorical language in his writing. Such as, "And This Place Could Be Much Brighter Than Tomorrow". (Ruben.2015) The word "Brighter" I can defined it as a better condition. In the first verse of the song, Michael talked about a place in our heart; which is love. This place can be brighter than the day before if we really tried to open our heart and connect with other people. If we really tried and were succeeded, that means we will make a better world for our children and families with no pains and sorrows. In the second verse, He started with Heal the World. "Heal the world\ Make it a better place\ For you and for me\ And the entire human race\ There are people dying\ If you care enough for the living\ Make it a better place\ For you and for me"( Ruben.2015). “Heal the world” is the title of his song and it basically means healing the world from all dangerous. We can make so many changes if we just keep trying without surrender. The changes not only for him or other people from the same culture or race, but for the “entire human race.”(Ruben.2015) I believe that Michael choose the word race because as he a black American, he was very close to race issues. On the other hand, Jackson might use this phrase to convince people not to use racial discrimination in their life. True love is the only thing that cleans hearts. True love does not contain a lie but it contains honesty and sincerity. Strong love always makes a person beaming for giving without waiting for receiving from other people. As he mentioned in the third verse; "In this bliss we cannot feel\ Fear or dread\ We stop existing and start living\ Then it feels that always Love's enough for us growing\ Make a better world, make a better world" (Ruben.2015). For the fourth verse of the song "And the dream we would conceived in \Will reveal a joyful face\ And the world we once believed in\ Will shine again in grace \Then why do we keep strangling life\ Wound this earth, crucify it's soul\ Though it's plain to see, this world is heavenly\ Be God's glow\ We could fly so high"(Ruben.2015). In fact, Michael is expressing that as people we were imagined in flawless concordance and our reality was never intended to be discolored. However in the event that we know about this why do we continue crushing our Earth? Why do we continue battling one another and keep on spilling blood on our dirts? It is evident that life completely is wonderful. In the event that we simply watch and recall how important life is, we can be the prize of our children. Last but not least, in the last section of the song, Jackson was convincing people to stop causing the damage in the world. As he said in his lyric, we all brothers; “you all are my brothers” (Ruben.2015). He ends the song with the phrase "See the nations turn their swords into plowshares"( Ruben.2015).; This phrase shows the human desire to put an end to the war and transform all means of destruction into useful tools to rebuild and repair the devastation caused by the destruction of war. So, I realized that he used "sword" for war and "plowshares" for a machine that we can use to re-build what had been devastated. In conclusion, to make a changes in the world, we need to change ourselves first to be able to share our love and happiness with others. The biggest example of that was the American King of Pop Michael Jackson. He was selecting the song's lyrics that works to spread awareness among the people and the development of their minds. Also, he was one of the most people who were care to the poor and needy children. Therefore, we all must follow his approach to be able to find a secure life for future generations.
The night of May 16, 1983, almost 50 million people watched one of the most spectacular performance on television (Scott 1). Jackson won 40 Billboard music awards (Scott 1). His lyrics are powerful he also talks about social causes, human race, and relationships. He inspired millions of people with the music he wrote. Since I was a little girl I listened to his music couple of my favorite songs are “Bad”, “Dirty Diana”, Make that Change”, “You are not alone”, “Billie Jean” “Smooth Criminal”. These songs where inspiring to me growing up to this day I listen to him. My siblings and me loved his movie called “The Moonwalker,” It’s about his music career when he was five years old till he went solo as an artist at the age of thirteen. I would watch his movie repeatedly. My sisters and me would try to follow his dance moves but we were always unsuccessful it was a great memory growing up. I loved the part when he turns himself into a bunny as a little girl I thought that was awesome. I would think I had magic And, I remember telling my mom “I wanted to be like Michael Jackson because he has powers” my mother would just laugh. One of his quotes from his lyrics that is powerful to me is “If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, then make that change,” this

However, what attributed to Michael Jackson’s success was not because he got lucky, it is simply because he practiced hours and hours at his craft and essentially where he was born and raised. Michael wasn’t just blessed with an impressive dance skill set, behind those flashy dance moves was hard work and dedication. At the early age of 5, Michael Jackson studied and was inspired by the late great icon James Brown. Jackson studied the musicians legendary singing, dancing, and even his mannerisms while he was performing on stage. While Michael was studying the late singer, he had a hunch that he wanted to achieve major stardom in the same fashion as James Brown. In Malcolm Gladwell’s book, The Outliers, he addressed the 10,000 hour rule. He indicated that it takes roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve full mastery in a field. It’s easy to assume that Michael simply just had a natural ability to sing and dance, but we tend to overlook the endless amount of hours this man has put forth to become so successful. The most compelling evidence that contributed to his success was his ability to have room for error and think of new ideas. Michael was constantly searching and constructing new dance moves/routines to perform to his audience. In addition, he always eager to
Jackson often released songs that had powerful messages behind them e.g. 'We Are the World' and “Black and White”. Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” released as part of the “HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I” album in 1996, was addressed to “the people” in an effort to promote equality, justice, and peace. However, it led to unexpected controversy
First taking to the stage at the age of just 11 as part of his family's gig The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson grew quickly into the superstardom, which would both reward and plague his life. An apparently unstoppable creative and financial force through the highs of his career, 'The King of Pop' struggled with a confused and turbulent private life that was often made appalling public. In the wake of his shock death though, it is for his artistry - and not his controversies - that he will be remembered and sadly missed.
The story-telling music videos, with a plot, actors and special effects that has individually become a form of art today, proved to be successful after Thriller’s music video. The 15 minutes long mini-movie, was the costliest music video ever made at that time. This revolutionary act was highly praised and considered a grandiose happening. Jackson decided to continue telling stories via his videos, instead of filling a stage with models or show concert footage
