The similarities between Michael Jackson and Prince
Michael Jackson and Prince are two contemporary American musicians that are often revered for their works but are hardly ever analyzed for the similarities in their musical styles. Despite their contrasting presentation both artists, have a similar background’s, the same level of musical ambition, peaked in the same decade energetic dance routines and being eccentric.
To elaborate on their resemblances, the first point worth discussing is Michael Jackson and Prince’s similar backgrounds. Although Michael and Prince bear some superficial similarities with their musical influences on the world, the differences between their careers and musical abilities are clear.

In this essay I first will tell you more information about Motown and where it got its name from, I then will tell you about Marvin Gaye and his history dealings with Motown, next I will talk about Stevie Wonder and explain his life and how he became a part of Motown, and lastly I will talk about Jackson 5 and talk about how they became a group and their dealings with Motown.
