In the U.S. 41 million people struggle with hunger, including 13 million children. In 2015, 5.4 million seniors struggled to afford enough to eat. This is a major problem in the States. We are of the richest countries out they're and there is a lot of people who struggle to eat every single day because they can’t afford their meals. What our business is trying to do is to serve people who are hungry for mexican traditional foods at an affordable price to keep them focused in school.
What makes My business unique is that we will be able to provide our customers with traditional meals from very popular places in mexico. Unfortunately there is also a lot of businesses that have included their business ideas the same as ours, making competition

More specifically I would like to attract young teenasgers who love food, because I believe that I they would spend a lot of money on us due to that a vast number of teens do not time to make their own food and do not to eat the food that the school is providing. By providing them with authentic foods they will enjoy the flavors of traditional foods from the places where it is hard to find these exquisite foods. In the United states alone there is 54,000 restaurant in operation and Mexican food is the 3rd most popular food in the United States. Another audience that we are aiming for is people who can’t afford expensive food or people who are impoverished. We chose this audience because poverty in America is incredibly high and the amount of people who don’t eat every day is high and our business is trying to help the community by helping the people who aren't helped by the government. The final people that we are trying to advertise to is to teachers, because they do not have the time or money to go out and eat and spend on expensive foods. Our business would facilitate their time and would help teachers have more time to work with …show more content…
This means very bad news for our business because there is already a lot of competition making it harder for us to succeed in this market. Another problem with our business is that there is also a lot of preparing involved due to that we would need to prepare the food and make sure that we have enough supplies to sell and make things run. The final problem that we might encounter is financial issues because we do not have any money and would have to ask or get a loan from the bank.
What will make our business different is they food, the service and who we are trying to help. I noticed that majority of the restaurants that I go to, their menu are always the same thing, Tacos, Burritos and quesadillas. I believe that by adding more diversity of foods we will be able to expand the business at a constant rate making it successful. What also makes us different than other businesses is that we would sell inside the school and would sell to students teachers and possibly parents. We would sell the food at an exceptional price helping those who don't have that much
In your industry, an entry barrier is to provide customers with high quality, fresh, homemade products. With the surge of the health craze, more people are likely to go to a Café type establishment, than go to a fast food restaurant. Health-conscious customers have come to know and expect this from any café/restaurant trying to enter this market.
Coming from a mexican culture, I am blessed to have a rich variety of traditional delicious home made recipes. Most people my age always salivate to the idea of their grandmothers making that amazing dinner. Mostly all americans can agree on the superb taste of the mexican food, and one of my favorites and most traditional of them all is the famous “Mole sauce”. It is made on special occasions such as birthdays, christmas, new years, and teenagers first communion at the church. This complex dark red spicy/sweet sauce has a legend behind its creation. It is believed in the mexican culture that it was made for the first time at the Convent of Santa Rosa in Puebla early in the colonial period. The convent nuns went into panic one day as they found out the archbishop was paying them a visit and they had nothing to prepare for him due to lack of wealth. The nuns prayed and put together the scraps of ingredients that they had left including chilli peppers, day old bread, nuts, some chocolate and spices. After they killed a turkey, cooked it and served it with the sauce on top, the archbishop fell in love with the dish. They asked the nuns about the dish and they responded truthfully with “I made a Mole” which is the anctient word for mix in spanish. There is also a few variations of this sauce within the mexican community, but the one I will be instructing you how to make is the traditional recipe that my grandmother learned from her grandmother; Mole poblano.
Many people believe that the problems associated with hunger are limited to a small part of society and certain areas of the country, but the reality is much different. In many ways, America is the...
The United States is known as the wealthiest country in the world. But, there are many people that can't afford to buy food for their families, many are also homeless. “While hunger affects people of all ages, it's particularly devastating for children even short-term episodes of hunger can cause lasting damage."(“Child Nutrition Programs") Child hunger in the United States is caused by poverty, unemployment, food insecurity, and food shortage; however there are many solutions to this problem like FRAC strategies, food banks, summer feeding programs, and backpack feeding programs.
The type of business that I selected is a pizza store, called Al Capones. This business specializes in the making of pizza. The competition that this business has to deal with is the two local pizzerias that are down the block from this establishment. The franchise Dominos is also one of their main competitors. This Pizzeria’s marketing strategy is running commercials that show, how they can deliver faster and better pizza than Dominos. The also have the deal where if its not there in 20 minutes its free, just like Dominos used to have. The store’s logo is on a giant banner, of a gangster like cartoon character, with a catchy saying. This establishment is pretty much recession proof. This is because people will always be hungry for some great pizza. This pizzeria also has an expanding market line in that they come out with tons of toppings, they have over 50 different combinations of toppings for your pizza pie, I think this is great, there is such a variety of them its unbelievable. I’m sorry to say I haven’t tried out many of their toppings because I’m a very picky eater.
Panera Bread competes in the industry of fast-casual dining. The growth in this industry was at 14% in 2006 but dropped drastically from 2008 to 2010 during the worst of the recession. However, growth has started picking up again, the outlook is very positive for the industry as a whole. Using the Porter’s 5 forces to analyze the industry, this industry is highly fragmented with all types of sellers who compete directly with each other; this coupled with the high expectations from customers who pay only moderately premium price has the effect of forcing industry players to employ aggressive competitive tactics in order to survive in this competitive environment. Also looking at barriers to entry, this industry has relatively low barriers to entry.

In the United States of America, the richest nation in the world, one in six Americans do not have enough food to eat. Have you ever wondered why there are so many food banks and food pantries throughout the country? They are not simply, as you might think, able to offer emergency food assistance. Indeed, they are the main sources of food for millions of food-insecure Americans. Food insecurity, the state of not having sufficient quantity of affordable and nutritious food, is very widespread and common in America.
An evaluation of the restaurant’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats served as the foundation for this marketing plan. The plan focuses on the restaurants marketing strategy, suggesting ways in which it can build on new customer relationships, and development of new food products and targeted to specific customer groups.
There are many factors that go into what makes a culture unique to its country. One of those factors would be the different kind of foods that they make. Every country around the world brings their own unique taste. They also have a signature meal that they served, but not a lot of people know what those meals may be. Therefore, having a little background knowledge on a few countries may help people see how different they can be.
Even in this land of plenty, millions of Americans are at risk of hunger. These are often hard-working adults, children and seniors who simply cannot always make ends meet and may be forced to go without food. An estimated 14.5 percent of American households were food insecure at least some time during the year in 2012, meaning they lacked access to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members.
The name of my café is star bean cafe. Every year approximate 50,000 to 80,000 student and 10, 0,000 visitor are entered in New Zealand so that my main goal are those students and as well as local people and commercial people.
The first step in any business is to think of or create a business idea. Without an idea, one cannot launch their business off the ground. A right direction is needed to create a business with a unique idea. However, other options include franchising or buying an existing business (1). Franchising allows an individual to run stores such as Burger King or McDonalds under the corporate name. It involves taking training classes and a heap of money in order to start a franchise. A Franchisee will have to buy products and services from the corporate entity they are franchising from, which is often required. Buying a franchise is like taking a piece of the pie from the company that is franchising and sharing that pie with everybody else. In addition having a franchise allows one to communicate and in essence become a big part of an added business opportunity (4). Franchising is far from easy to start and maintain for that matter. Starting a franchise involves a l...
