This naturally occurring metal element has an atomic number of 80, atomic weight 200.59, melting point of 234.32 K, boiling point of 629.88 K, density at 13.5336 grams per cubic centimeter, with symbol Hg. An element that is found in the earth’s crust and cannot be destroyed or created. This element is called Mercury. Mercury can be traced back to the ancient Chinese and Hindus and has been found in 3500 year old Egyptian tombs. According to Environmental Protection Agency, Mercury can be found in air, water, and soil (2014). Pure mercury is sometimes referred to as quicksilver, which is a liquid metal. Exposure to mercury or its compounds can cause Mercury Poisoning (also known as hydrargyria or mercurialism).
Mercury exists in several forms. The forms are: elemental or metallic, inorganic, and organic mercury compounds. I definitely thought it was quite bizarre, and in the beginning I wasn’t too sure if I agreed with their theories of how the town came to be. Particularly that they are able to hide the secret city on Mars for so long and go in secret on a rocket to outer space seemed so far fetched for me to believe.

The six of them worked very hard to learn calculus, test different types of fuels, and get a textbook about rockets for the school, to make the best rocket. Sonny was a product of the setting he made, he broke free from the Coalwood setting, and he was successful doing it.

The Corps of Discovery’s journey from September 25, 1804–April 6, 1805 led them upstream the Missouri River, traversing through the Dakotas to their eventual wintering refuge near the Mandan Village. Along the way, the Corps inevitably encountered numerous Indian tribes. “Oslo, August 31st” is a film by Joachim Trier's that deals with the uncertainty and self-consciousness of those trying to get a foot in this world after making some wrong choices but not knowing where to start. While the main character Anders is allowed to go into the city for a job interview through his rehabilitation program he uses this to his advantage to visit some old friends. Throughout the day, Anders seems to be struggling with his personal issues and his old past that still follows him around while he may have a chance at love and a new life. “Oslo, August 31st” is a decent film about an individual who is unable to come to terms with life, turns to drugs, and shows what the effects of those choices are. Though “Oslo, August 31st” is a good movie that touches on those who are not able to come to terms with their life, the effects of drugs and bad choices, I personally felt as though this film was dull and difficult to grasp what Anders was going though due to the lack of background to what lead him to his current state “Oslo, August 31st” opens with individuals sharing their memories of the Norwegian capital city.

Whales are notable for being mammals which are fully adapted to oceanic life. These are three groups of Whales in their phylogenetic tree; Archaeocetes, Mysticeti and Odontoceti. The first group are known from their fossils and are seen to be a transitionary form as they retained a number of features associated with land mammals e.g. hind limbs with feet and limbs. The two other groups diverged around the start of the Oligocene; when the ice caps started to grow in the poles of the earth. It has been suggested that this may be due to the rise of seasonal planktonic production which could have led to specialisation (Houben, 2013); this ties in nicely with other summarisations which link the diversions of Whales in this time period. Mysticeti and Odontoceti differ on two counts; Mysticeti possess baleen making them filter feeders of plankton, in comparison Odontoceti possess a single set of teeth and have the ability to echolocate.
