In "Without a Trace" Expectations, the team is in search for Megan Sullivan, who is 8 ½ months pregnant and is H.I.V. positive. She goes missing after a visit from the doctors with her husband. The team believes, that Megan's husband Brian isn't too enthusiastic, about his unborn child and wife. They suspect him being involved with Megan's disappearance. The team speaks with Megan's mother who tells them that Brian had an affair with a woman named Jane. They find out that Jane had left the hospital, the same time Megan went missing. Jane becomes a suspect as they believe she did Brian's dirty work. However, Jane tells them that the affair has been over, and saw Megan in a heated phone call. Megan's work computer was then checked, and found out she was searching for a new H.I.V. specialist. Her specialist told the team, that Megan came in to check the results, of the swelling around her neck. Megan was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Her new diagnosis changed her status from H.I.V. positive to aids and Megan would have six months to live after her baby's birth. Brian was told the news from Jack (Malone), and tells them Megan had started a scrapbook, that coud be a result from the diagnosis. The scrapbook leads the team to believe Megan is in search of her sister Linda, who she hasn't seen in 20 years after their dad's death. The team finds Linda, after she is found purchasing Megan's medication at a pharmacy. Linda tells them Megan might have not gone home, because of what she told her. Linda tells Megan that their father never died but, left them for his secretary. Also, Linda explains, that their mother never told Megan because, it was easier for her to never tell her. This secret was the reason Linda left them. The truth had led Megan to go visit her father, in his nursing home outside of Hartford. When the team checks the nursing home she was no longer
