Throughout history, we have seen many animals that have lived on Earth and are no longer alive. However, there is a specific species such as the Megalodon, that though once thought to be extinct, has been speculated to still being alive today. Megalodon are gigantic sharks the size of a greyhound bus with teeth the size of the palm of your hand or maybe even bigger. The Megalodon went “extinct” due to the lack of prey because of major changes in the environment around them. The reason why there has been speculation is because in these recent years past there have been many sightings of sharks with the description of being huge in size. These changes in the environment left them in waters that contained very little nutrients which might have caused most of their prey to migrate to other waters. Also, they prefered more of the warm tropical waters but due to the changes the oceans started to get colder and colder, because of this the Megalodon wasn't able to find warmer waters or find food. As these changes were happening the sea levels started to drop as well the problem with this is that the Megalodon wouldn't have been able to find a safe place to give birth to their young which left them vulnerable to predators. All these changes in a short period of time did not allow the Megalodon to adapt to these changes so they died off. There has been speculation that the Megalodon is still alive due to many sightings in these recent years past of sharks with the description of being gigantic in size.
Another reason why is because there have been many nursery areas discovered, places where they birth their young, and we have been finding baby Megalodon teeth from not too long ago. There has also been a whale carcass that washed ashore on one of the beaches in Africa and its whole backside has been bitten off in ONE BITE. The only animal in the ocean that can possibly bite off a whale’s whole backside off with one bite is the one and only Megalodon. These speculations provide a bunch of evidence of the Megalodon still being alive in our ocean
waters. In conclusion, the Megalodon too this day is still one of the world’s most dangerous predator ever recorded in history. If they didn't go extinct where in the ocean could they possibly be? Over these recent years there have been many sightings of this beast and there still are people who claim they saw it to this day. If we do figure out that the Megalodon is still alive could that mean that many more ferocious predators of the sea back then could possibly still be alive as well? We will never know until we figure things and can explain all these sightings and events that have been happening that give evidence that the beast of the seas is still alive and his name is Megalodon.

The Carcharhinus leucas commonly called the "bull shark" is a very unique shark. The bull shark can live in both salt water and fresh water but is commonly found along the Mississippi River and around Nicaragua. The bull sharks has a very blunt rounded nose giving it a bullish type of appearance thus giving it the name bull shark. The sharks are a dark black to a light grey with a white underbelly. Bull sharks can grow to be about 350 cm long and weigh around 230 kilograms. Bull sharks also tend to have smaller eyes compared to many other sharks which indicates that the bull sharks have limited vision. The bulls teeth are heavily serrated and are about 1.5 inches long which makes it easy to tear apart the flesh of their prey.

In 2015 only 59 shark attacks have occurred around the world compared to the millions of sharks killed by humans every year. Due to these accidental shark attacks people tend to think that sharks, especially Great Whites are evil creatures with malice intentions when attacks do occur; but, on the contrary that is wrong. Sharks are not the only beautiful and unique creatures in the ocean, they also play a vital role in our ecosystem; however, due to human interference they might not be around much longer, through awareness sharks can be protected from endangerment.
