My decision to enter medical school was a result of several factors added together. Understanding the complexity of the human body and to cure the disease state, using appropriate medical concepts has always fascinated me. My admiration for doctors, together with realization of the value of life after the death of my beloved grandfather intensified my passion to study medicine. My passion was not an erratic one based on hearsay, but rather based on good comprehension about the profession and an earnest experience. Above all, I have always excelled in my every academic venture and the career in medicine had always been my first choice. My ambition got materialized when I got into Medical School. Clinical rotations were the best part of my medical school because that was when I could apply the knowledge acquired from the books into the patient and put simple facts and reasoning to reach the provisional …show more content…

I have learned take every work and responsibility seriously, be it a simple paper work or complex patent care. I love to work in a team and respect the contribution of every individuals. I have hold the hand of a mother whose newborn died second after giving birth, managed a little child who was seizing, sat beside an old lady who died fighting cancer and seen a smile of appreciation in a young boy who was successfully treated for meningococcal meningitis. Although, many experiences were gratifying and some distressing, I have learned to stay calm and composed. I fulfilled my responsibility as a doctor after the earthquake in Nepal. I was active in providing first aid care to the victim, impart health education and rehabilitate them. I believe my self-motivation and enthusiasm in this field will help me to tackle challenges I might face in the
