This girl Cady was a new girl and she really didn't have friends , she wanted to be friends with this one guy because he was so nice to her and she loved the way he treated her, So one day Nick went up to Cady and said would you like to come over to my house because they had a chemistry test to do together. So then he said “yeah sure.” Then Nick said “Ok, meet me after school by the buses.” So, then its was after school and Nick said “Cady over here.” NIck was going right towards her and he was like “You Ready” Cady said “Yes” so then they headed to his house and then they go inside the house, and they get their chemistry book out and they start studying for the test. Cady and the Mean Girl said “Stay away from Nick so then Cady was like why? Then the girls said because she doesn't like you, and the reason he doesn't like you is because he likes me. So then Cady said i go to get to class and so she went to class and then there was Nick sitting at the table in front of her. Nick said Hey so she said Hey but that day, but Cady did not sit in her original seat she sat in the back y herself because she really didn't have any friends. So then Nick was very suspicious because she didn't sit in her original seat. So then few months past and Cady and Nick became really good friends, they told each other everything, and they had each other's back.
One day Nick was in the parking lot right beside Cady car so then she was walking towards her car until Nick grab her face and kissed her, she didn't see that coming but then Nick said “i've been waiting to do that. Then he also said “I love you Cady since the first day that we talked.” Cady was shock she didn't know what to say or what to do. But the Mean Girls were just watching Nick kiss Cady but you know that jennifer wasn't happy. So, then weeks past but Nick was throwing a party just for fun, So then couple of days past, and it was on a saturday night and the party started Cady wasn't going till like 8:00 because she had stuff to do. So then it was 8:00 pm and she was looking for Nick so she went up stairs and she saw Jennifer and Nick kissing, she was heartbroken. Then Nick said “It's not what it looks like!” Cady said “Really Nick i gave you my everything and you just broke me into pieces just for her!” So then Nick said “I love you” but then Cady said “It's a little late for that.” so then Cady went home and when she was driving she was crying
so bad that she wished that she never met Nick. Few weeks past since the party and she hasn't said one word to Nick but Nick has tried to talk to Cady but all she does is go a different way. It was 8th period and the bell just rang, and Cady was getting her stuff ready to go home, but Nick block the door so she wouldn’t get out, and the reason Nick did that so he can talk to Cady about that night. Cady didn't want to talk but Nick did and he said was “I love you more than jennifer, and you know that!” Cady was like “If you loved me you wouldn't be kissing other girls!” Then Cady left the classroom and then she go in her car and it was friday and all weekend she just sat there in her room and think about that night. Until one day, Cady back was facing Nick, so all nick sees is back of Cady head, until Nick spend her around and kiss her, she tried to push him off but all she did was just enjoy it but Jennifer had to yell “BABE” but Nick said “Sorry jennifer but you're single because i got the girl of my dreams.” So then jennifer was walking but she wasn't paying attention so then she fell into the trashcan and her legs were in the hair and her head was inside and Jennifer got out of the trashcan all was she had food in her hair and ketchup and all that in her hair and clothes. Everyone just started laughing at her because she fell inside the trashcan. So weeks past and everyone is now Cady best friend, except for the Mean Girls they have there own little group. Jennifer doesn't bully Cady anymore and Cady got everything that she wanted. Cady got the man of her dreams, Nick got the girl of his dreams and their happy. :)
The short story, “Likes”, by Sarah Shun-lien Bynum follows the various emotions a father, Dave, feels for his pre-teen daughter, Ivy, who has inherited his joint problems. Throughout the story, a therapist helps Ivy better her joints and Dave learns how to communicate with his daughter in ways he did not before imagine. The story is about bettering oneself physically, but also about how parents have a hard time communicating and engaging with their growing children. However, once parents stop avoiding and feeling uncomfortable with their children’s differences, they can find a way to grow back together with them.
Little Girls in Pretty Boxes and The Scarlet Letter. Both authors persuade the reader to feel pain of the stories subject. In Little Girls in Pretty Boxes the author used pathos and interviewing to share the stories of these overly dedicated youth. Joan Ryan wrote to show how these young, talented, sophisticated women can hide the harsh reality of the sport. In her biography she listed the physical problems that these young girls go through. They have eating disorders, stunted growth, weakened bones, depression, low self esteem, debilitating and fatal injuries, and many sacrifice dropping out of school. On the first week at Grandma’s, a man named Shotgun Cheatman died. Everyone in the town went to the funeral because he was the well known assistant to the Mayor. The funeral was held in Grandma’s house and a creepy thing happened that night when Tom the cat crawled inside the casket. The next day, Joey, Mary Alice and Grandma left the house and walked across fields of tall grass and “cow pies aplenty” to Salt Creek to go fishing. They found an old wooden boat and Grandma rowed the boat out into the creek. While on their fishing adventure, they encountered a cottonmouth snake that fell into the boat and a party of drunken men on land dancing in their underwear.
First, we went to this station that was right next to the parking lot. The man there picked 2 people from our class and it was Dylan and Adelene. He gave them both notes to read out loud, Dylan got tricked and read the note and he said “Miss Adelene and I are going to get our marriage license.” Everyone laughed and Dylan was like, why is everyone laughing but then he realized, and he was embarrassed.
When Meghan hears me enter she runs crying "Tim's teasing me and I'm hungry." I ask the kids, "Why didn't you feed her?" Tim responds, "she didn't say she was hungry." Pat runs up from the basement and reminds me I have to take him to guitar practice now or he'll be late.

The Hardy boys, Frank and Joe, were driving down Shore Road and they heard a report about a stolen car. Frank and Joe raced towards the scene and saw the stolen car. Suddenly, a big red produce truck came right into the middle of the road. The boys had to slam on their brakes. They crashed into a fence and were dazed but not hurt The driver came out of the truck and said he was sorry. Frank thought something was fishy about the guy. They both went home and tried not to let their mother see all their cuts and bruises.
In the short story, “Girl,” the narrator describes certain tasks a woman should be responsible for based on the narrator’s culture, time period, and social standing. This story also reflects the coming of age of this girl, her transition into a lady, and shows the age gap between the mother and the daughter. The mother has certain beliefs that she is trying to pass to her daughter for her well-being, but the daughter is confused by this regimented life style. The author, Jamaica Kincaid, uses various tones to show a second person point of view and repetition to demonstrate what these responsibilities felt like, how she had to behave based on her social standing, and how to follow traditional customs.

“Girl, Interrupted” is the story of a young girl’s attempted suicide and her time in a psychiatric hospital. The author tells the story of her experience at McLean Hospital and the people she meets while she is there. In Susanna Kaysen’s “Girl, Interrupted,” the author uses the hospital records to symbolize inconclusiveness of her diagnosis to support the theme of confusion of social nonconformity with insanity. Many of the other patients at McLean Hospital have very obvious diagnosis’ such as psychopath or depressed, but Kaysen’s diagnosis is borderline personality disorder, which has symptoms that most teenages can relate to. Throughout her stay at McLean Hospital and years later when she reads her hospital records, Kaysen struggles with accepting herself and her diagnosis.

The main character Jaycee is with her boyfriend Skyler. Jaycee really loves Skyler and he really loves her. They both think that they can only really talk to and trust each other. Jaycee is looking into the death of her friend and doesn’t want to tell anyone but Skyler. Skyler loves her a lot and near the end after things start coming together Skyler tells her what he did and hopes she won’t hate him.
