McDonald's isn't healthy. Everyone should know that and even the company itself has come to terms with it in recent years. However, they are trying to change their reputation. Gone are the pink slime chicken McNuggets. A new recipe is here that will make fast-food lovers feel better about their bad choices. Here are five things to know about it.
1. MCDONALD'S IS TESTING OUT A NEW MCNUGGETS RECIPE
A few years ago, people freaked out at the McNugget process. Images of a mysterious pink sludge freaked people out beyond belief and sales began to plummet. People know fast food isn't healthy. However, they used to think it was actual food. Not this pink slime. Hence, McD's is testing out a new recipe. One without pink slime.

The goal here is to make McNuggets still taste good but help parents feel better about feeding them to their children. So far, the recipe is in 140 restaurants in Oregon and Washington.
3. MCDONALD'S MCNUGGETS USE REAL BREASTS
everyone loves real breasts. Hence, McD's decided to include them in McNuggets. It's not pink slime or even dark meat for that matter. Meat from the rib, breast and tenderloin all go into the nugget. Furthermore, the skin is removed beforehand. Although they do add a little bit in afterward for "flavor".
4. MCDONALD'S EXPLAINS HOW THEY GET THE MEATY TEXTURE
For anyone that's seen a chicken breast, you know that it looks nothing like a McNugget. There's a reason for this. Apparently, McD's puts all the meat through a grinder that gives you that "meaty" nugget texture we all know and love. Furthermore, they combine everything together, slap a marinade on it, shape it up proper and cover it in crumbs. As a result, a nugget is
When most people think of McDonald’s, they typically think of the Golden Arch, their famous French fries, cheeseburgers, or their tender, juicy all white meat chicken nuggets, sandwiches, and strips. But what most people don’t know is what really goes into these so called 100% all white meat Chicken McNuggets. The horrid things that they use in their nuggets are right under our noses in the ingredient list, but do we ever take the time to actually read and research what their made of? No, because we all trust the McDonald’s Corporation when they tell us that McNuggets are made from 100% all white meat chicken, right? They wouldn’t feed us anything that could potentially harm us, would they?
There are many fast food restaurants that have pink slime in their products and also school districts. “The USDA estimates that lean finely textured beef accounted for about 6.5 percent of ground beef orders.” Not only, just in fast food restaurants and schools but in grocery stores and anywhere that sells beef as well. “There are no precise numb...
The fries people eat today are so unnatural that each fast food place has a different taste. "Their distinctive taste does not stem from the type of potatoes, that McDonald’s buys, the technology that processes them, or the restaurant equipment that fries them"(Schlosser 119). McDonald’s and other companies use fries now with distinguished taste, one that is different than its competitor. They also put chemicals in other things like their milk shakes and burgers. Almost everything there is chemically enhanced.
In 1998, McDonald’s, in order to remain strong, tested the “McDonald’s Big Xtras” or “MBX” which was a potential hit. The “MBX” was a 4.5-ounce burger launched mainly to compete with Burger King’s “Whopper”. It was also reminiscent of the1980s “McDLT”, In ’98; they also brought back the “Filet-O-Fish” which in 1996 had been replaced by “Fish Filet Deluxe”. On a promotion basis, they offered novelty sandwiches, like “Cheddar Melt” and the “McRib”.
Fast food is everywhere, and sometimes hard to differentiate from healthy food that can be ordered quickly. McDonald’s is a company that is known for being a place to buy fast food. Their food has large portions, is fairly inexpensive, and contains a lot of sugar, so it fits the requirements for a fast food restaurant (“Food and Diet,” 2012). There are meals at McDonald’s specifically for children. Happy Meals, as they are called include an entrée of chicken nuggets, a hamburger, or a cheeseburger. These all come with a side of French fries, a choice of apples or yogurt, and a drink.
The McCancer is just one of the food items on the McDonalds menu that contains noxious chemicals that get called ingredients. McDonalds is dangerous though in more than just burgers and buns. The chicken nuggets contain Silly Putty plastic or dimethylpolysiloxan (Breyer). Eight syllable words may be ok in plastic toys, but food that is consumed daily by millions? McDonalds must stop putting poison in food, and the only way that way the criminal company will do that is if people make a stand. People need to make others aware of the inhumane processes the food goes through, and the unbelievable amount of toxins in the food as well.
Just recently, on January 3, McDonald’s released a new “healthy” option for breakfast called the “Fruit and Maple Oatmeal” and the at first new addition was welcomed. However due to closer examination by New York Times columnist, Mark Bittman in his article titled “How To Make Oatmeal... Wrong” it was soon discovered that even though McDonald’s may be headed in a new direction, they still have their same antics.

The chicken nugget isn’t a part of the chicken’s anatomy, real ribs have bones, and most importantly, real food riots.” The interviewee, Jennifer Van, she said “people should not eat McDonald’s because you don’t know what it is made of. There have been videos and experiments done where the burger from McDonald’s takes much longer to rot than a normal burger, which means it cannot be normal. It probably has a lot of chemicals.” “If McDonald’s is so healthy for kids, why
It appeared unusual when in 2013 McDonald’s McResource website advised its employees of the potential health risks collocated with its popular McMenu. According to CNBC, the website warned that "fast foods are typically high in calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar, and salt and may put people at risk for becoming overweight". Additionally, the McResource website, created by independent third-party experts, states that a “cheeseburger, fries, and soda is the unhealthy choice and a sub, salad, and cup of water is the healthier choice”. Such sensible dietary advice coming from the fast-food giant – often ridiculed by its unhealthy menu – seems astonishingly unreasonable. In response, McDonald 's said that it agreed with the third-party advice
McDonald’s restaurant was founded by two brothers, Richard and Maurice (Dick and Mac) McDonald, in 1940. They initially opened the restaurant under the name McDonald’s Barbeque which was located in San Bernardino, California. The McDonald brothers had a vision of a drive-in restaurant that focused on quality food and good service. They served a simple menu consisting of 20-25, mainly barbeque, items. In 1948 after eight years of operations the McDonald 's brothers discovered that the majority of their revenue was coming from hamburgers. With this in mind, they decided to change the menu and set their focus mainly on hamburgers. They also changed the name of the restaurant to simply “McDonald’s” and adopted an assembly line approach in the production process. After continued
