A 30 oz. McDonald’s sweet tea has as much sugar in it as two Snickers bars. “McDonald’s hamburgers never seem to decay which means that they could be feeding food that looks the same like its fresh”(Kelley). When an individual is eating at McDonald’s his/her health is at risk. No one should eat at McDonald’s because it causes everyone to gain weight, contains bad ingredients in their food, and they are killing too many animals to produce their product.
The food at McDonald’s will cause an individual to gain weight rapidly because their food contains so much salt and sugar. Which could cause people to have many problems with their health because of the exceeding amount of salt and sugar they have in their sandwiches,

There is about a McDonald’s restaurant everywhere in the United States of America which is good for consumer to find somewhere to eat at and instead of driving so far to find one and eat their Also there is a commercial about McDonald’s on TV every single day which helps them promote their product to the consumer and they also advertise by using billboards to promote their product. Also if there is a McDonald’s restaurant everywhere in America then there will be more jobs created which is good for our economy and helps people make money. McDonald’s food doesn’t cost that much which is a good thing for the consumer since there is people out there who can’t afford to buy a good meal so they spend less money by buying fast food. Which means that they are spending their money wisely. For decades, the fast food industry has become victim to rumors and false claims. McDonald’s is no stranger to misinformation regarding the ingredients of their food. These problems are especially relevant to today’s society, as many people distrust large corporations.
What is happening to our economy is that so many people are going to these fast food restaurants because they are basically on just about every corner. So, for adults that makes it easy if they didn’t have anything planned for dinner because they can just pick something up from the local fast food restaurant on their way home from work. Also, it is very cheap. For example, a bundle at McDonald’s can feed up to four people at one time and it only costs about fifteen dollars! So, in the long run, it is just easier to go pick up some fast food rather than wasting your time cooking an actual meal. Lastly, even though fast food is very cheap and on every corner, it is not healthy at all. Studies have proven that a person that ate McDonald’s for his meals for a full month ended up having some serious health changes. In conclusion, even though it is very easy to access and very cheap, fast food has some serious health issues and be very harmful.
Making existing and potential customers knowledgeable about products/services, consumer awareness creates more informed buying decisions. Consumers cannot purchase products and services if they do not know they exist. That being said, I believe McDonalds does uphold the basic rights of consumers. Currently, McDonalds displays nutrition facts on all of there food items. That was not always the case. Prior to the movie super size me, and the ensuing lawsuits, McDonalds would offer consumers the option to upgrade their already unhealthy meals to a even larger potion known as super size. This ignored consumer rights because the establishment did not warn customers that they would be consuming nearly half of there daily calories just by having fries. Appropriately, McDonalds no longer tries to gear people towards the unhealthy option of super size and displays nutrition information on all of its products. Therefore it is fitting to state that the major rights of consumers have not always been upheld at McDonalds, but they are taking steps in the right directions. At present, they are making phenomenal strides toward a healthier menu. McDonald's started giving customers the option of choosing apple slices and milk as part of the Happy Meal package. They also began packaging 100-calorie versions of Oreos, Wheat Thins and other healthy treats. Also McDonalds is currently working on removing trans fats from their food. More and more McDonalds is taking gradual steps to making the American consumer more responsible for what they put in their own mouths. Soon, it is very likely that people will no longer be able to blame corporations like McDonalds for obesity because there will be healthy options and people will be informed.

Contrary to popular belief, the alternative drink is not really helpful for your diet after many years of research have shown. Although you would be saving calories, the drink does not provide any nutritional value whatsoever. The powerful company is an overwhelming influence not only in the worlds economy, but also the worlds holistic lifestyle and health; therefore, McDonalds must be carefully monitored-carefully monitored meaning every move, every change, every single action the company makes needs to be a healthy one. Since the McDonalds business is unbelievably large, it has to manufacture a lot of food, and in a fast food business more in numbers means lower quality. But the food served isn’t lower quality. The food is not even food. It is poison! The chain restaurants food that is sold to the world population contains over 70 cancer-promoting ingredients (Roberts), not to mention it also contains preservatives that are butane-based, bleached flour, and the main ingredient found in silly putty (Breyer).
