Maze Runner and Anthem are similar in some ways and different in others. In the book Anthem by Ayn Rand, the protagonist Equality 7-2521 is telling us about what it's like to live where he is and all of the rules that he is supposed to follow. In the movie Maze Runner by Wes Ball, the protagonist Greenie has been sent to this place in the middle of a maze and is trying to survive through the movie. In the book Anthem and the movie Maze Runner they have to follow several rules and if they don’t they will be punished for all that they do. These are both popular with most teens, because they can relate to them. In the book, Anthem they are in an area where they have two different sections. Equality 7-2521 is in an area and on the other side is this girl named Liberty 5-3000. They are not allowed to cross to each other's sections. “We strive to be like all our brother men, for all men must be alike.” (1.7) This explains how teens feel in today’s society. They feel that they can’t be different we all have to be a like and this is a quote exactly saying that from the book. Teens think they have to try to be the same as everyone which is not true. Maze runner was a movie most teens watched and enjoyed. The book Anthem was a book that teens actually read because they kept saying things they could relate to. Most teens read so that they can relieve the stress, but this book people we saying that sounds like something we have to do everyday. This book and movie are so popular because they can relate, point out certain things that shows that the book and movie is related to in their life and society. The movie and the book are so similar but different settings, and different events in the story. Kids today find books and movies is a release point. They watch certain movies or read certain books to escape all the stress that they have in there life at that moment in
