Storytelling can go a long way and in many different ways. Universal themes can cross between time, place, and cultures, which are evident in all stories. The Maze Runner was written by James Dashner, this kind of story is post apocalyptic dystopian science fiction. In the movie it had a lot of Universal Storytelling Elements such as odd elements, the characters, narrative transport, and heroic scenarios. The odd elements in The Maze Runner were that the maze changes every single night. You can hear the Maze change up the way in order to try to find the exit and be able to escape from the box that they have been trapped in for a long time. The other odd thing is that Thomas ended up getting attacked by Ben in which he got stung by a Grieber so it made him delirious and wanted to kill him. “It’s all your fault.”(Maze Runner) is what Ben kept telling Thomas. The quote meant that ever since Thomas has arrived a lot of bad things kept happening. So in the Maze Runner there has been so many strange things going on. Narrative transport was a big thing in the movie. At some parts it actually made you feel like you were part of it and it was happening to your own self. The door were almost closed but Thomas had a lot of courage to go beyond the wall to help out Minho and help save Alby even though he wasn't allowed to since he wasn't a Runner. Another example would be when Thomas got stuck in the maze with Minho and Alby, Thomas helped protect them both from the grievers and helped them make it back
Tom also had real courage to go and help Mayella out in the first place; he didn’t have to, and by doing it he was putting himself at risk; any bystander could have gotten the wrong idea. However, he helped her anyways out of sheer goodwill. Another act of courage Tom did was when he tried to escape prison by running over the fence. He was licked from the start because he only had one good arm and was against guards with weapons, but he attempted it anyway because, in his mind, it was the right thing to do.... ...

James Dashner's The Maze Runner is a novel that portrays the life of specifically chosen teenagers, who live in a colossal sized maze. They are tested to escape the maze and find a cure for the disease which broke out during The Changing. The Gladers who are inside the maze illustrate the theme of bravery in the novel, especially Thomas, after his arrival at the Glade. Thomas has the courage to take risks, such as going into the Maze at night to save Minho and Alby. His bravery gives him the opportunity to open up to his talents and abilities which allow him and his friends to grow and discover the mysteries of the Maze and their past lives. When we think of bravery in the Glade, we only think of the physical bravery, but bravery is also the state of showing courageous behaviour or character. We first see this form of bravery from Thomas as illustrated."Somehow he knew he had to do it. It was such an odd thing to feel, especially after what he had just seen...'Now
The Illegal, and Some Great Thing by Lawrence Hill both contain several important themes. To explain, The Illegal features the main character’s loss of innocence, and the racism towards people because of their country of origin, and ethnic background. Next, Some Great Thing includes the themes of racism and prejudice towards not only the protagonist, but also to French Canadians because of the colour of their skin, or the language they speak, and the courage of characters to stand up for what they believe is right.
“Earth people will beat out any other intelligent life-form in any and all competitions” is a theme, but “good always beats evil” is one too. “Once upon a time . . . ” stories have themes too, except they are more one-dimensional. For example,... ...

The film "Finding Neverland" is the story of the man JM Barrie who does not want to grow up, and writes the story of a boy who never does. Since the beginning of time, stories have been told. Stories have been passed down from the beginning of time, told to younger generations by the old. Every story is based on one original story, however, the author has to create a new storyline with new character, sometimes adding a new, exciting aspect to the plot. There are only a limited number of stories that can be told, as there are only a limited number of messages, or key elements that a reader can take away from each story. After a while, a reader will begin to relate a book, movie, song, or some other kind of story, to a work that they have previously read.

The authors can make their themes any kind of way. Ofcourse , it has to relate to the story and make sense. Also, all themes are different depending on the story. You should always listen to your elders and sometimes the people around you because it can be helpful. “To Build A Fire,” the author teaches the man a lesson in the end by granting him death.

There are Universal themes that recur because no matter how different people share the basic experiences and concerns. Leo Tolstoy’s Russian folk tale “The Grandfather and His Little Grandson” and sandra Cisneros poem “Abuelito Who” have the same universal theme about the importance of grandchildren always loving and respecting their grandparents.
In the novel, The Call of the Wild we see a swathe of themes that permeate through it's writing and atmosphere. There is the mantra of survival of the fittest, the acquisition of skill, and the difference between the wilderness and civilization. However, the strongest point we see that shines and peaks through all the others is the regression to our instincts. This refers to how due to our surroundings how we will inevitably turn back into uncivilized animals. This is apparent in the main character, Buck.
