Maximum Ride Angel Experiment Chapter Summary

Max shouted,“Run, Run Run!” The book Maximum Ride Angel Experiment is written by James Patterson. Maximum Ride Angel Experiment is about a group of six kids who call themselves the flock and the oldest is Max who is fouteen and then its Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel who was six. The six of them are on the run from scientist which the six of them call white-coasts. The reason is that they have special abilities which are that Angel can hear people's thoughts and all of them can fly. This all started when the white-coasts took Angle and it took days to get her back, but they finally did. In doing so they found Jeb who was a father figure to all of them and sent them free when they were kept in School (the place where they lived and where

the white-coats experimented on them) like lab rats. Finding out that Jeb had turned into a white-coat. Then they went on a hunt to find their parents and find all the information they could but had to got the Institute in New York to do that. It was a lot harder than you think they were all being chased by packs of mutant werewolves, that transformed into deadly killing machines. Lastly, finding papers about their birth parents and where the six of them really came from
In the This the part when everything went downhill and and sent them on a mission that they would never forget:
“My Angel, my baby, had been snated away from snatched away. She was
with bloodthirsty man-wolf mutants eager for her blood who would turn her
Over to despicable lab geeks who wanted to take her apart. Literally.” -Max

Without this passage there would have been no story, since this passage led to finding out that Jeb betrayed them all and he was the reason why Angel had been kidnapped. Angel also found out that there were more places like School but called something else like the Institute. This place was exactly the same as School, but this one was different because they also experimented on animals. The first thing they did was log into a computer and print all the information they could about their parents. This came at a cost Jeb son Ari was a mutant wolf and had been chasing them the whole time on their journey. Then when Max was leaving the Institute trying to catch up with the others Max and Aris got in a fight and Max Pushed him into the metal floor so hard that his neck broke and died a few seconds later. This led to Jeb screaming at Max while she was flying away to catch up the flock saying, “ You killed your own brother.”(page 408) This quote led Max thinking about who was her parents and where she came from.
Moving on, if I had to recommend this book to someone it would be my brother because he likes mystery and conspiracy books.

For example, “Where are my mom and dad? How come I’m the only one with no files at all?” (Patterson 419) This shows Max might have been actually an experience that resulted in her being born from an a scientist or a person from the government. Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment is another great reason my brother would love this book is because it is fiction. For instance, “..he was looking at a large cat...it had human eyes. And when I examined its paws more closely, I saw human like fingers beneath the retractable claws.”(Patterson 398) This shows that it is not possible for an animal to be born or alive in this way. This would really catch my brothers eye a lot during the reading because this happens throughout the book, since Max and the flock are finding animals that are being experimented on. Lastly, Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment is recommended to my brother because it would be something new for him that he would never read but it is also original book. In other words, it's something that you would read and compare to nothing you would have never read since it's so different from other books. For instance “ I can see the person who works here, It's a woman, with red frizzy hair.….She typed in the password, and I can feel it.”(394) This shows that on their journey that they are unlocking other abilities without even knowing it and is also showing that there might have been a reason behind going on this

journey.
