Doubt at all about the feelings of men of science, and I share them fully. If then I find myself writing, not mathematics, but ‘about’ mathematics”, and I write about mathematics because, like any other mathematician who has passed sixty, I have no longer the freshness of mind, the energy, or the patience to carry on effectively with my proper job”. He discards the language he would use in his research/academic paper instead adopts a succinct and simple writing style aimed to

On chapter 3, Hardy discuss about career, he dedicated it as justification of existence and activities, he also status it can be separated two different parts, first. Weather the word which he does worth doing, second, why he does choose that careers. He could not sufficiently answer first part of questions, and he only focused on second part of questions. He proposed his theory as following: “if they are honest, will usually take one or other two forms; and the second form is a merely a humbler variation of the first, which is the only answer we need consider seriously”. Which means that most people choose career path because “It is the one and only things they can do at all well: He brought out some fields of career example such as lawyer, stockbroker, and professional cricketer. In my personal interpretation, these field of career is required some kind of talent and passions like lawyer, lawyer is required fluent tongue, proficient of debating and manipulate which is talent, and interested in legal subtleties and, passions of argument and debating, these kind of thins are almost always be dedicated by limitation of the natural abilities, but these techniques are not able to applied for poet, physicist and mathematician. He states, the field of career and professional ties in mathematicians are one of the most specialized talents and it is
Many people have gone through their lives conforming their beliefs and practices for the sake of fitting in or for the happiness of others, but Socrates was not one of these people. In “The Apology” Plato shows Socrates unwillingness to conform through a speech given by Socrates while on trial for supposedly corrupting the youth of Athens and believing in false gods. Although the title of the dialogue was labeled “The Apology,” Socrates’ speech was anything but that, it was a defense of himself and his content along his philosophical journey. At no time during the trial was Socrates willing to change his ways in order to avoid punishment, two reasons being his loyalty to his God and his philosophical way of life.
As our first year of apologetic class, we started out with the basic idea of apologetics. The root word of apologetic, apologia, means “ To speak in defense “ and it is often used in religious matters. The purpose of apologetic is to give a solid and valid defense against the questions that are thrown against the christian society. We give such defense by stating the facts that provide support to the christian statements and views. As a christian, we are supposed to be able to explain our faith as it is said in 1 Peter 3:15 “ But in your heart set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give answer to everyone who asks you to give reasons for the hope that you have. But do it with gentleness and respect.”. We defend our faith not only to have a solid base, but also in order to help those who are in search for truth.
When reading the dialogs of Socrates, it is easy to ready each as an individual story. It is more difficult to take into consideration every word that Socrates has said up to that point and allow that to influence the validity of Socrates current position or argument. Though this may be more difficult we must take everything that Socrates has claimed to hold in every dialog. While doing this brings up a potential contradiction between Socrates Apology and in his dialog with Crito. Though this contradiction is clearly visible when focusing on just the idea of these claims, there is background beliefs of the Gods that allows both Socrates claim in his apology and his argument in the Crito dialogs.
The Apology Written By Plato, is a detailed account of the trial of Socrates, who was a great philosopher in Athens. Socrates was brought to trial based on charges of “corrupting the youth” and “not believing in the gods” (23d). The people of Athens believed Socrates was corrupting the youth because they simply did not understand his method of inquiry, which consisted of Socrates teaching them to question what they thought to be true. Socrates’ method of inquiry drove his listeners to question their beliefs and often brought them to a state of puzzlement, or a state Plato calls ‘aporia.’ There are many examples of the Socratic method present in The Meno, which is also written by Plato. The entirety of The Apology consists of Socrates explaining his methods, like those in the Meno, and telling the jury that his intentions were all for the best sake of the city of Athens, which he implies when he says he is “a gift from the god to the city of Athens.”
In the book of Apology by Plato, Plato explains what really makes a person attain happiness. Plato tells us that a person needs to have virtues and a well being of the soul in order to actually have happiness. Plato tell us that without virtue there is no way a person is actually happy. He says humans no matter how famous or poor they are they can attain this happiness that they are seeking through virtues. Plato gives us two categories one is first things and in this section are virtues and well being of the soul. The second category is second things and it includes great health, money, job, sex, honor, being famous etc. Most people in our society believe that having the second things bring true happiness to them but Plato says this is incorrect.
Socrates was a well-known philosopher in Ancient Greek who was named the father of Western philosophy. Yet, the counselors and state jurors did not believe that Socrates was the knowledgeable man that the city of Athens claims that he is. Therefore, the state accused Socrates for depraving the youth of Athens, as well as creating new gods that were not recognized by the state. In the Apology, one can understand that it was not much of an apology or an acknowledgment of offense. Later on, Socrates is sentenced to death and later writes Crito, where his friend Crito endeavors to convince Socrates to escape his jail cell. Yet, Socrates’ actions in Crito are not so consistent with the dialogue that is found in the Apology.
A. Under trial for corrupting youth and not worshiping the Gods in Athens, Socrates takes an attitude that many might interpret as pompous during his trial. Rather than apologise, as Plato’s dialogue title Apology suggests, Socrates explains why he is right and those who accused him are mistaken. He speaks in a plain manner, as if the jury is just another of his followers. Socrates first cites the profit at Delphi for why he behaves in ways that lead to him being under scrutiny of the law. He explains that his friend, Chaerephon, went to ask the oracle if anyone is wiser than Socrates and the oracle responded no (21a). Socrates then explains his interpretation of this being that he is wise in knowing that he does not know certain things, where
Analyzing career theory is an important task, not only as an individual but also on a large scale. If everyone has the career they are best at and enjoy above all others, the world would be a much happier place. Imagine a world where each individual viewed work as not something they have to do, but as something they want to do. Productivity would increase at all levels. Charitable foundations and businesses would be abundant. Whereas this ideal may not be fathomable at this point, if each person used this information, it would be only a matter of time before we are moving in that harmonious direction.
The responsibility of the existing government bears for its historical misconduct of “Japanese’s American Civilians” & “The Bureau of Indian Affairs giving an apology to both civilians. The government today look back in the past were the United States enforced its ambition against civilians remove them out of their homes by threat, deceit, and force. And now sees the burdens of their agency’s history. The United States gave a speech for equality and forgiveness.
I think that heterosexual men are less likely to perceive the need to apologize because that is something that they weren't really taught while growing up. There wasn't someone saying "boys don't apologize"... But there also wasn't someone in their lives pushing them to be sympathetic or to show their feelings. Boys are taught at a young age to be the strong ones and to never cry, while girls are taught the exact opposite. Girls are allowed to cry and to be emotional, no one questions that. Although, as soon as a boy or a man shows their feelings or is sympathetic they are automatically deemed as "gay" or weak? I think that if Bernstein were to redo their research and studies years down the road from now, there might be different results. I feel as though children are being brought up differently now, they have more freedom to be who they want to be and not so much of what society wants them to behave an act like. The reason men are less likely to perceive the need to apologize is based off of how they were broughtt up, unfortunately arrogance also plays a role in this situation. Men are more likely to have more confidence than a woman, women think about things more in depth than a man and are usually in the position of feeling as though they are at fault. (Even when they aren't) If a woman in a
Born in the Netherlands, Daniel Bernoulli was one of the most well-known Bernoulli mathematicians. He contributed plenty to mathematics and advanced it, ahead of its time. His father, Johann, made him study medicine at first, as there was little money in mathematics, but eventually, Johann gave in and tutored Daniel in mathematics. Johann treated his son’s desire to lea...

Careers are not something to be taken in a light manner as it acts as a major function in every being’s life.
