Everyone has a choice of whether they want to live saved and go to heaven or do right by the world and go to hell, which will you choose?
My topic is about how people should get their live a life with god in heaven soon. This book is about how a woman named Mary k. Baxter one day in March of 1976 Jesus came to her when she was praying at home. His power and is glory filled her house. A light shined down on her where she was praying she felt a sweet feeling come over her and then a voice said “I am Jesus Christ your lord” and he would wish to give her tour of what hell really was and how it was real. Jesus had called her according to that purpose so that she could go write a book telling people about how there is a heaven and a hell.

He told her that he would take her into hell by spirit and into heaven to show her that his word is true. The main characters would be Mary k. Baxter, Jesus, and will also be talking about the different types of demons and people in hell they see in hell. The plot takes place in hell where Mary k. Baxter is with Jesus in spirit form. There are different parts to hell. Hell is in the of a human body. It sets between the middle of earth. Inside Inside of hell there are many tunnels and tortures. There are also lots of pits of fires. When you are in hell your senses are much stronger than how they are on earth. When Mary k. Baxter went inside of one of the funnels for the gateway to hell she wrote that the air was polluted, evil spirits tried to call out to her and Jesus, but they could not touch them because the power of Jesus was there. Screams filled the air and there were also piercing cries. She could feel death all around her. She saw grey figures she could not make out, and big snakes that slithered. When Jesus took her through all of this he let her know that he was with her and to not be afraid. When you go to hell you will have eternal sorrow. It is a place …show more content…
Jesus said that even when this woman rejected him he had pleaded with her, wanted to heal and bless her. When the old lady turned her back on him, Jesus still sent his spirit to strive and plead with her but she still did not give in. the lady ended up coming to hell at last but, Jesus told her now she had a chance And She still rejected him. The Judgement has already been set for her. There were small demons that were given assignments by bigger demons from Satan. They were given orders to go out and destroy homes with families. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. These demons went on assignments by Satan through a door that open and shut very fast to let them out. Demons are assigned orders to go into the world and persuade people to do wrong. When they take orders they are coming from Satan for his plan to deceive you, with earthly things because he knows exactly how to get you to follow in the wrong direction. He knows exactly when he is luring people into his trap. Satan is not anyone’s friend he makes things that are on earth look good so that we could turn to them so he could destroy us. For example,
Hell is what he is referring to when the author says firey pit. He describes hell as the lowest,
In the Inferno, Dante paints a hell of fire and brimstone, carefully divided and subdivided. Everything is meticulous and standardized. A place and punishment is dished out for every crime. For example, circle seven, depicted in Cantos twelve through seventeen, is the designated place for the violence but has many subdivisions including violent against neighbor, self, God, nature, and art; each with their own punishment. Although Ward's vision of hell draws much from the traditional thinking of Dante's version, perhaps only for the sake of painting a picture of hell on the screen, the major difference is in the subjectiveness of it....
She changes her mind about Jesus’ rising from the dead as she produces more fear of what will happen to her if she doesn’t. With the details and plentiful symbolic relations with Christianity, O’ Connor has made her story present religion without forcing the idea on others. Furthermore, the story submits a thought of the grandmother that maybe she is doubtful of her own religion and appears to become just as equal to the misfit for he has had the same doubts. 1 For example "Maybe He didn't raise the dead," the old lady mumbled, not knowing what she was saying and feeling so dizzy that she sank down in the ditch with her legs twisted under her (A Good Man is Hard to Find).
pits, different cells in hell and there is a heart of hell. As Mary and JESUS went through hell their were people there who are begging god to let them in heaven and god says no because judgement has been set. He said there has been many people their way to introduce them to god and they refused. Souls are in hell begging for repentance and the answer is no because they had their chance and they turned their backs on god. Some souls even were at one time of another saved and they were going through something to make them stronger in the word and they though god was being unfair to them and blamed god for the mistake; therefore turning their backs on god. There are many false prophets in hell. As god walks through and stop to talk to these prophets they beg and pled for forgiveness and when god says judgement has been set they began to curse god and talk to him in the manner where they are really disrespecting god.
...e after all, he is the most sinister. The irony of this situation is compelling once we are told that Satan is in fact the “…soul that suffers the most.” (Canto XXXIV. Line 61).
Satan is very easy to sympathize because he is more like man than god is, he has more characteristics and feelings that god does not have. He has jealousy, fear, pride and he makes mistakes like we all do. His pride is what got him where he is today, thinking he could take over heaven for the better of the angels. But when has god ever made a mistake? He doesn’t because he’s so perfect. When one looks around it is clear every human around you is not perfect. We all make mistakes, regrets, but that does not mean we should be thrown away from earth. The way Satan thinks, feels, and acts is all very human and that’s one reason we can sympathize with him, because we’ve all been there at one point in time. At an all-time low, that’s we he ends up embracing his future like he should.
It is a solid world, no distinction between mind and matter, everything is touchable. The physical expresses the spiritual, the spirit of God is physical and pervades the physical universe--it's all one place. There is no heaven and hell, it is just all here. For this reason, this book answers all of those questions you had as a kid in Sunday school and nobody could give you a satisfying answer, for instance, where do people go when they die, what does hell look like, what does heaven look like, what is purgatory, and how does one get from purgatory to heaven. Sunday school teachers should just read Dante to the kids--it is the end-all encyclopedia of heaven, hell, and purgatory.
She was only there because she trusted herself that the person they thought they were meeting is going to be a whole completely different person. Paola and the step sisters waited at the bench until Jesus said he was their but he was there all along but none of them noticed. They all thought about who else would be there at midnight
In scripture, we can see that more than once Jesus cast out demons from people and had the power to shut their mouths. In Luke 11:14 one can see the power of Christ over demons, “And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.” Another place in scripture that we can see where evil gets its power from is in the book of Job. Satan had to ask for God’s permission to torment Job. We know by this that any authority Satan has, has been given to him by God. God has given him the authority over worldly things as mentioned in John 14:20; however, it is important to remember that Satan cannot do anything that is outside of God’s will and purposes. In 1 John 4:4 we are reminded that as long as we have Christ in us, we ...
Ask anyone to draw Satan and you 'll get a red snake-like figure with horns and a pitchfork. Satan, as introduced in the Hebrew bible is an unworthy adversary of God. His longing to be like God is quickly recognized and dealt with. God banishes him from Heaven and sends him to Hell. That 's the last we see of him until he talks with God about his faithful servant Job. In each interaction we see Satan in, we get only a glimpse of who he really is. Satan 's motive is not developed and we assume he does evil simply because he is evil
Satan is recorded in the Bible has the power, she can master the human, but the power of the devil is not nothing compared to the power of God. Satan blurry and shaky because of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
From the very beginning of the poem, we get a description of Satan as well as his emotions. We can see that Satan suffers from psychological and physical pain, but also shows emotions such as pride and hate. Satan, for the most part, tries to keep his feelings to himself, but there is an emotional conflict that Satan is dealing with, and it becomes evident when he enters the garden of Eden. “The impression of the depth is maintained throughout this because, although same as mine is no longer hidden, his energy bait and self-criticism reveal him as a creature of dynamic tension, such as the other characters of the poem notably lack” (Carey, p.4). Satan acknowledges his guilt, and he thinks through all the possible options and still decides to stick to the evil plan.
In today’s time, people think many different things about angels and demons. Some think that an angel is someone who has passed away and is looking over them. Others think that angels are those who are good and in God’s kingdom singing and praising God. And some people think that angels are both people they know that have passed on and are looking over them and that they are beings in God’s kingdom. Demons are thought of in a couple of different ways. Some people think that they are all of the bad people who have passed away and instead of going to Heaven, they have gone down below and live around fire and evil. Others tend to think that they are bad spirits that live amongst us, though you cannot see them.
Satan demonstrates his leadership, intelligence, and traits valued by his fellow fallen angels within the first several books of Paradise Lost. Satan speaks eloquently throughout the entire work, which demonstrates both his intelligence and ability to manipulate others, “Powers and Dominions, Deities of Heaven!/For, since no deep within her gulf can hold/Immortal vigour, though oppressed and fallen,/I give not Heaven for lost...claim our just inheritance of old,/Surer to prosper than prosperity/Could have assured us, and by what best way, Whether of open war or covert guile,/We now debate; who can advise, may speak” (2.11-42). Satan beautifully addresses his peers and cunningly proposes a democracy, disguising his leadership and intentions of making the decisions himself. However, his companions in Hell blindly
And there spirit fell into and unclean state from the way God created them, they became evil and God does not dwell with uncleanliness. The first demon to fall in this state was “Satan” he was thrown out of heaven. God cast him and several other fallen angels, Satan is known as the ruler of the world until Jesus returns. Demons are believers of Jesus and they know that he is God, but there mission is to try and capture as many lost souls as possible before Jesus returns. This (1 Peter 5:8, KJV) “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world”.
