Recommended: Mars a plainet essay
The Martian is about an astronaut, Mark Watney, who gets stranded on the surface of Mars for over 500 days without anyone knowing, at first. He has to survive in the martian atmosphere by creating his own water and even growing his own plants! Mark sets out from his HAB on a rover to travel a distance to an old rover named Sojourner. He brings back Sojourner hoping to connect communication with Earth. Mark soon becomes low on supplies and needs help soon. Will Mark achieve communication with Earth and miraculously get rescued? I really enjoyed this book! This was definitely one of my favorite reads. The reason I thought this was such a great book was because of many elements. First, was the setting. The setting of my book took place on Mars!
There’s not many books out there that take place on mars and involve someone getting stranded on Mars! Next, was the conflict. The conflict in the story was that Mark was obviously stranded on Mars. The thing I loved about the conflict is that it’s so different and unique. There’s really not many books that have a conflict similar to Martian. The Third reason I really like about this novel was the character. Mark Watney is a very interesting character. He’s unbelievably smart, like all astronauts, but to a point where he can create water out of like hydrogen and stuff in the air! The author, Andy Weir, did a great job separating Mark Watney from any other character i’ve ever read about. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend just because all the unique elements the author included in this great read. The three elements of setting, conflict, and characters were main factors in enjoying this book. I’d overall rate this book a 10 because of these three elements. This story was also a pretty different read regarding the setting, which is pretty neat. This book is a great read for teenager’s seeking an adventure and mystery and discovering the story of Mark Watney.
What I liked most about it was reading from two different perspectives and how those different perspectives met through the book.
I found the book to be easy, exciting reading because the story line was very realistic and easily relatable. This book flowed for me to a point when, at times, it was difficult to put down. Several scenes pleasantly caught me off guard and some were extremely hilarious, namely, the visit to Martha Oldcrow. I found myself really fond of the char...
In my eyes I loved the book I rate it a 9/10, its had a good twist and turn to it. I loved this
I would recommend this book to people who love realistic stories. Personally for me it is hard to find books that interest me and this one felt like if I was watching someone else's life while I read it. It has so many interesting points. When you think something might happen
There are several things that I like about this book. First off, I love historical fiction, and this is the genre of this book. Also, despite the author being too descriptive, the book went at a steady pace. For me, pace usually determines whether I will read the book or not, and I never really hesitated, or thought about changing books.
If the Martian Chronicles had been written in the 1999’s instead of fifty years ago, many issues and problems would change. Ray Bradbury wrote his book in 1946. In it he wrote about problems such as censorship, man’s cruelty to man, and loneliness. Each issue shows up in one or two of his chronicles. All of his issues affect every one of his characters in many different ways.
I would recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys historical fiction books where the characters learn life-altering lessons. I also feel that people of all ages would enjoy this book because it’s messages and theme was very positive. While I did enjoy this book, I think I will not be reading another historical fiction novel for my upcoming book response.
My overall opinion of this book is good I really liked it and recommend it to anyone. It is a good book to read and it keep you interested throughout the whole book.
The Martian is a story that involves a visit to the mars, and after that, the astronauts come out of the Mars leaving behind Mark Watney who his real name is Matt Damon. The team assumed Mark was dead after a strong storm. He tried to survive with the remains of the supplier till he was able to launch his way back to the Earth (MacIsaac, 2015). The story is represented in the Novel, and a movie and these two platforms have some similarities and differences. The movie is the representation of what is happening in the book. Therefore, not everything that it is in the book is covered in the one and half film, therefore several scenarios are left out.
Did you like the book? would you recommend this book to others? Why or why
I think my favorite thing about this novel was the realistic ending. Some books try to just give you a fairy tale but this book had an ending that mad you think in the end if I was in the same position would I do the same thing. I didn’t like the fact that the novel portrayed mental illness in a way to say that it needed to be hidden and protected. I thought this novel was very believable for the time period that it was set in. I think the ending to this novel was perfect it was an accurate ending to this
The author of The Martian, a science fiction book about Mars, was never a professional scientist or writer. He first posted The Martian on his website for free until his readers asked him to put it on Kindle. The Martian is an action packed novel in which Mark, an astronaut, is stuck on Mars. NASA and the Ares 3 crew members work together to save Mark. Mark is left on Mars when his crew-mates accidently leave him behind. There’s no communication, there’s hardly enough food, and Mark faces many more man vs. nature problems. A big theme in this novel is conflict in which Mark has to overcome many obstacles to survive Mars. The Martian is an action packed novel with an amazing author, the element of suspense, and a surprising sense of humor.

Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles. Ray Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles shows us not only a different world from Earth and Mars, but also the future of America. Bradbury's The Martian Chronicles depicts the colonization of Mars in terms of the colonization of America. The story is similar to what America experienced, such as thediscovery of America, the invasion of Indian colonies, and the new civilization. Dana's response paper also discussed the colonization of Mars.
...strophic and fail at then end. The Martians try to adapt by also killing humans or using their telepathic power to pass as humans. The had the power to create visions or dreams inside the minds of the humans and pass as one of them. That is how many of the Martians were able to survive.
