“A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over holy to weeds, a silent, mournful expense, there was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Desolate and unlovely”, Mark Twain’s description when he toured the land of Israel in 1867 known back then as Palestine. Today, Mark Twain would not even recognize the land of Israel because of the improvements it has. Out of barren land, desert and swamps, Israel people created gardens, vineyards and farms through their most innovative techniques in the world. Israel people are resourceful individuals. They are good in terms of innovating something through their creative minds. Citizens in Israel called, Israelis. Israelis are expressive, extrovert and conversationalist. As an independent country, people there are free to express themselves. They are also opinionated individuals. Their culture of challenging, debating and arguing is everywhere and it is healthy for them because they get better answers and better results and that is the key of Israel’s economic success. They do not have a sense of belonging to the country; rather they have a sense of ownership over the country. They take pride of their country and willing to defend it no matter what.
Israel ranked as third highest rate of entrepreneurship among women and people over 55 countries worldwide. This means that, people there are business minded and they believe that “Time is Money”. They work fast; they think faster. No wonder why they also have the highest concentration of hi-tech companies in the world and ranked as the fourth Most Innovated country in the world.
