Recommended: Benefits of medical marijuana research

In the world today, there are so many different types of drugs that are covered in the substance use and abuse chapter. People abused substance due to many reasons such as curiosity, peer pressure, etc. If I had to choose one type of drug to cover in my classroom, I would talk about marijuana because it is a widely used drug in the world today and I think it would be a good idea to inform people about the consequences they could face when abusing the substance. Additionally, I would discuss about the positive effects that marijuana could bring into the medical field because marijuana is not a bad substance when you know how to use it in a correct way. In my opinion, the age group that is the most important to cover with are between middle school
