Hey everyone today let's talk about Cannabis. So, Cannabis is a plant derive drug we commonly refer to it it's either Marijuanas or Weed.WHAT MARIJUANAS DO TO OUR BODY ? So firstly let's look at what Marijuanas does to the body Now Marijuana has an active ingredient known as THC which targets two receptors within the body CB1 and CB2. The CB1 receptors are found within a region of the brain and the CB2 receptors are found within periphery so anywhere but the brain Once THC targets every receptors it causes the body to feel euphoria all feelings of extreme happiness and enjoyment with that it also causes the body to feel relaxed and it can also increase someone's appetite by activating CB2 receptors it causes muscle relaxant and a decrease in …show more content…

Marijuanas can linger in the body for almost up to a week after inhalation because it sticks to the nerve fiber due to its oily nature. So now that we've looked at how Marijuana works in the body. MARIJUANAS EFFECTS We can look at the potential side effects that can be caused by by THC activating CB1 receptors in the brain it can potentially cause short-term memory loss , feelings of paranoia and anxiety and it can also cause the person to hallucinate to a certain extent By activating the CB2 receptors THC can cause potential side effects of a dry mouth red eyes quite severe drop in the blood pressure and tingly feelings throughout the muscles. WHY PEOPLE ARE CAUTIOUS ? So now that we've looked at the adverse effects of Marijuanas we can look at why people are pretty cautious about its use as I mentioned it can cause quite a drop in a person's blood pressure which is potentially hazardous in an individual such low blood pressure can cause a person to faint it can cause them to go into a sort of coma and potentially die.
