Recommended: Issues of gun control in america

After taking the ISideWith Quiz, the results showed that I shared 88% of my beliefs with Marco Rubio. I was not surprised at all with my results. I hold true to my very conservative beliefs. I feel as if this is a very accurate result, because if I were to have to vote tomorrow, he would be the one I would choose. There are many things that Rubio and I both agree should be changed in the next presidency like common core education and the immigration system. There also things that we agree should stay the same, such as gun control. One change that must be made is the education system. “On Day One, Marco will issue an Executive Order directing federal agencies to stop any and all activity related to implementing or encouraging Common Core” (MarcoRubio).

Martin Luther King, Jr. would also disagree with this definition but he I think he would have a bigger problem with the advice that Jefferson is giving. Personally, I’m very opposed to death penalty; under no circumstances should a person be executed for a crime he or she has committed. Although jails have supposedly become more comfortable and beneficial, with access to exercise facilities and libraries, I would much rather see a criminal given a life sentence in jail than the death penalty. Coming from a Catholic family, I think I have developed my stance on this issue due to my faith.
