A Texas student stumbled upon a set of sexually graphic photos and videos when he borrowed his teacher’s phone. Suddenly, the teen realized he had been molested.
Manuel Gamboa's phone had images of the teenager’s sexual assault taking place while he was sleeping, unaware of what was happening to him, according to ABC13.
The 35-year-old substitute teacher worked at Dekaney High School in Spring, Texas, when he allegedly recorded himself performing oral sex on the sleeping student.
Gamboa formed a close bond with the 17-year-old victim before he filled the boy with alcohol in his apartment. Charging documents stated:
"Complainant stated that he consumed several beers and became dizzy due to him not normally drinking."

This research paper is based on individual case study related to “Male Rape Victims.” Male rape is a crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse (LongMan Dictionary, p1169). In general, male rape has occurred as often as every year from the age of twelve and above. Frequently, males and females had common experiences in same situations. An attacker could victimize males as well as females, who can be an attacker, only a small number of rapes or assaults, about twenty percent, are committed by complete strangers (The Rape of Males, p1). The best known locations where rape occurs are at parties, allies, and secretive streets. Nearly everyone, who has consumed alcohol ot taken drugs of any kind has had their sexual hormones increase. The purpose of sexual intercourse is accomplished with a person, not the spouse of the perpetrator. In addition, men and women hackneyed sexual intercourse from pornographic publications. Despite, the pornographic industry's tremendous size and growth, sexually explicit materials continue to engender much political, legal, moral, and scientific debate (Malamuth, et.al, p26). Sexual assault is a problem that affects many students in colleges. Sexual assault is defined as “any unwanted contact” (6) performed on “an unwilling victim, without consent” (2). This means anything from touching to completed rape. Without consent means that “vigorous efforts were made to avoid sexual contact” (2). Physical symptoms of sexual assault can tamper with the victim’s quality of life. It can be pelvic pain, migraines, and even disability that can prevent a victim from working. There are over 32,000 pregnancies a year that are a result of completed rape, but problems with pregnancy can also be a result of sexual assault. In addition to these effects, women who experience this assault are more likely to contract sexually transmitted diseases (2).

Alcohol is a drug and it’s surprising that it took an incident like this one for me to truly grasp the significance of making sure my drinking habits are at a level that is safe for my individualized body. Although this experience led to intervention with the ORL staff, in my case it was positive because I have gained the knowledge and self-realization that I needed to make healthier decisions in the future.
