Malcolm X was one of the most prominent civi right activists at the time. He preached Black Nationalism, where blacks separates themselves from the whites completely. He is often known as the intellectual, charismatic hero. Although, he was not always that faithful. He was a thug. A hustler. He committed crimes. How did a hoodlum, became a historical figure of Malcolm X? There was many events in his life that changed him, and shaped him to be that somebody. If we trace back his footsteps, his life as Malcolm Little, his life as a thug, his life as a inmate, and his life as a national minister of Nation of Islam, all contributed in creating him and his name of Malcolm X. Malcolm's childhood years was nothing but a hardship. His father was preaching a gospel of black separatism and the white supremacists did not favor that. Ever since, his whole family was a victim of repeated threats and persecution. Malcolm saw his house set on fire, his father getting lynched, and his mother lose her mind. All of that was due to racism. Racial matters destroyed Malcolm’s family, left him with nothing, and doomed his life. Because of the racism, Malcolm X was born. He himself experienced what white society's cruelty can do to a humble black family. Because he was one of the victim, he craved for justice. Not just for himself, but for the sake of others who suffered as well. The roots of his heroism started with being the victim. After Malcolm’s father was murdered, and his mother was institutionalized, he was separated from his family. He was sent to a detention home where he started a life living with other white children. In addition to that, he was one of the only black children at his school, which anticipated his solitary and stressful li... ... middle of paper ... ...d man, who fought for justice, for others. Because of that, he was killed by his own men. Malcolm Little lived a life of being the victim, surviver, and a savior from the white racism. He lived a childhood life of being segregated, then became a hustler in a ghetto, and was sent to a prison. In the prison, he reinvents himself to be a fighter. For fight against racism. To bring justice to the racism. He was very charismatic, he showed talent for being a leader, but he also was a sacrifice for the others. At the end, his heroism caused betrayal. His fight against racism, caused him death. His preaching, his life, and death gave hope to many others. Last thing Malcolm X wished for, was black mankind to have brotherhood. Malcolm wished we would change. Because he was able to change, he believed we can. He believed the whole world can change. Nothing actually happened.
