Introduction

In the time of slavery there were several people who had an impact on freedom and equality for African Americans. Some people were Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and W.E.B Du Bois. W.E.B Du Bois was a great inspirational spokesperson. He quoted, “To be poor is hard, but to be a poor race in a land of dollars is the very bottom of hardships.” He lead his own movement and it was called the Niagara movement. He was associated with the N.A.A.C.P. He wrote books on his studies. He was a tremendous black activist.

W.E.B Du Bois was an activist, a leader, and a writer. Legitimately because of his writing, he became a spokesperson. All the citizens elected him. With that position, he became associated with a variety of things. As in the N.A.A.C.P or the Niagara Movement. Also regular protests. He would give speeches, and powerful quotes. He wrote books and he was associated with movements as well as protests. He was just as valuable as Martin Luther King Jr or even Malcolm X. He was just one piece of the puzzle. It comes together one piece at a time. One day you will complete that last piece. Then you will feel joy once you realize it’s all done. You made it through all the struggles in your life to finally be finished.

Conclusion

W.E.B Du Bois was a tremendous person. He did a lot to help African Americans from segregation and discrimination. He was determined and dedicated to his work. He had a great amount of impact. His impact did not end segregation or discrimination as a whole. But he reached many. He died still trying to fulfil his duty. His work,studies, and quotes are still reachered and written on.
