I wonder what it will be like 2,000 years from now. I picture radiant and glossy skyscrapers that look like they touch the clouds. I see children riding to school on hover boards and in flying cars. Honestly, I see nothing that I look forward to. When I picture the future, I see a world overrun by technology, dull and heartless people, and everything looking exactly the same as everything else. That is how the media has portrayed it for me. I wonder if there will be an extraordinary 17 year old who will sacrifice his/her life for a cause that could end sexism, or if someone will create something that could be a scientific breakthrough, or even if new doors of hope and freedom open after a tragedy that brought a whole country to its knees. …show more content…

I would do this to symbolize her life and to acknowledge her accomplishments. Another reason I would do this would be to inspire those in the future the way Malala inspired me. Malala is an activist for female education rights and won the Noble Piece Prize at age 17, the youngest winner yet. Malala is a role model for many people including me. She found the issue, tackled it, and has been fighting with it for now six years. She will not stop until there is justice. Malala let people know that no matter what age, you can stand up for what you believe in. Whether it is a bully at your school or a global sexism problem, someone will be there to support you. We all know of the date 9/11, the day when America’s weak spot was revealed and taken advantage of and we crumbled. Over the past 14 years of healing and eight years of construction, our country has rebuilt strength and dignity with the opening of the new Freedom Towers, now standing at 1,776 feet tall. I would put a picture of the new towers to symbolize new dreams and beginnings. I also would put the picture in for the remembrance of those who passed away and those brave families, friends, and witnesses who had to endure the tough time.
