Values that Machiavelli in his book "The Prince" teaches the leader of the 21st century

Introduction:
Undoubtedly, the top work of the author Nicolas de Machiavelli, "The Prince," is one of the most read in the last 500 years. This essay is not intended to justify or defend the recommendations that this Florentine author makes to the Magnificent Lorenzo de Medici. It is meant to analyze what are the ethical values mentioned in the book, with the purpose of divulging them and that the leaders of the 21st century put it into practice.

Since Machiavelli lacks wealth for having fallen into political disgrace, he stresses that he only possesses knowledge about aspects of good governance and wants to provide a guide to help better understand the art of command and good governance. As such, they must be preserved with courage and prevention. For that reason, Machiavelli recommends the prince move to attend their demands and avoid injustices, arguing: “When you acquire territories in a region that have a different language, different customs, and different institution, then you really have problems, and you need to have great good fortune and great resourcefulness if you are going to hold on to them. One of the best policies, and one of the most effective, is for the new ruler to go and live in his new territories.”
