Like humpty dumpty, Macbeth had one great fall. Tragic hero is a literacy character who makes a judgement error that leads them to their own destruction. A tragic flaw is the weakness of character that brings about a tragic hero's downfall. In the book of Macbeth by Shakespeare we see a character like Macbeth that fits these two definitions because he’s a hero torn by his flaws. Macbeth converts his good into evil which ends up destroying him. The three flaws that contribute to his tragedy are ambition, being easily influenced, and fear. This characteristics is important because these three flaws is what leads Macbeth to his own downfall.

Ambition is a strong desire to do or believe something. Once Macbeth has a taste of power, he is willing to kill anyone who comes in his way. Macbeth puts his desire before his country and the people he loves. Macbeth says “If chance may crown me, without my stir”-(Act 1 scene 3 line 154-155). In this quote is shows Macbeth determination to be king and describes his ambition as black desires. It shows his ambition because it shows how he trying to get over the obstacle to become the thane. This indicates he will do anything to become king. His ambition has piled on each other one after another and has now expolated into his downfall. Macbeth character has become more and more ambition to keep the crown until he knows it’s time for him to die. The last quote that shows Macbeth ambition is when he’s speaking to Lady Macbeth saying

“By the worst by the worst means, the worst. For mine own good,
All causes shall give way. I am in blood Stepped in so far that, should I wade no more,” (Act 3 scene 4 line
