Gratitude is a gift that the earth urgently needs. Consistent gratitude is a form of recognition of the gift and the giver. Daily gratitude can help eliminate the need for more and practicing more of only what we need. Gratitude leads to a society of contentment rather than one that's always in need of more. We human individuals have conventions for appreciation; we apply them formally to each other. We say thank you. “We understand that receiving a gift
Its practice has been seen to be efficacious in healing and improving the quality of life of many people. Whether in terms of enhancing mental health or preventing illness, gratitude is one of life’s vitalizing ingredients. Clinical trials indicate that the practice of gratitude can have dramatic and lasting positive effects on a person’s life. It can lower blood pressure, improve immune function, promote happiness and well being, and spur acts of helpfulness, generosity and cooperation (Emmons & Stern, 2013). Emmons and Stern (2013) from their experiments, assert that gratitude has one of the strongest links to mental health and life satisfaction in any personality trait, more so than even optimism hope or compassion. They maintain that people who experience gratitude can cope more effectively with everyday stress, show increased resilience in the face of trauma-induced stress, recover more quickly from illness, and enjoy more robust physical health.
Think of just 5 things to be genuinely thankful or grateful for and draw/write them on the hand or your list. Think about: Who loves you? Who are your friends? What are you proud of? What about your children, how do they light up your life? These are just a few things that we forget about that add so much value and joy to our lives. Can't think of 5? Look around you and think smaller and smaller until you can come up with 5 things.
Savor a hot cup of coffee, pet your dog or read a book as you pamper yourself and do at least one thing each day that brings you joy, peace and fulfillment.
When I recognize the state of gratitude in which my heart is enveloped, I immediately embrace the Grace of God! I would never know true gratitude if it were not for God’s grace.
One of the best qualities of society is one known as honor. However, honor is one of these words which cannot be tied down with an exact definition. People define honor with different ideas or opinions: being honorable is being respected, and to be honored you must be admired; you must have high morals to be considered honorable. Some say that your honor is determined not by yourself, but by everyone else. The definition of honor seems to have always been this confusing. However, it is noticeable that honor’s definition has changed over time, and it can be compared likewise. Honor can be seen as it was, then compared with how the way the United States views it, the way other countries view honor , and the way the world views it now.
... (2001) showed that grateful individuals were especially appreciative of the contribution of others to their happiness. Expressing gratitude and reviewing three good things highlighted this, and reminded me to show my loved ones my gratitude.

A strong Christian lesson on the true nature of forgiveness can be found in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount:
So let’s go over a few more. Spending more time with friends and family is important, but only the happy ones because their happiness will affect yours. Learn to love yourself and appreciate what you have. You may not have the nicest things or be the prettiest person but God decided he needed one of you. The things you may not have now you have the ability to work for. Learn and love your strengths because you were given them for a reason. Value them and be sure to put them to good use. Don’t hold grudges; they do nothing but take your happiness away when you see that person. Have you ever heard the saying, “fool me once shame on you, but fool me twice shame on me?” Think about that when forgiving people for their mistakes because nobody is perfect. Make sure to forgive him/her just don’t forget what they did, and be sure to make sure it doesn’t happen again (Bradberry). You can also try just smiling. When you smile it doesn’t just show you are happy it will also cause people to smile back at you which might just make your day a little better. Keep a journal. Writing down your feelings, and getting them out will help you get them off your mind, releasing stress, helping you feel better about things. Now seriously money isn’t going to buy happiness, but if you use it for the good then it can surely help. Try buying something for the needy, it will make you feel good about yourself (Haden). Of
...s thank you to others makes them incredibly happy. We also must express gratitude for ordinary things such as a beautiful blue sky during the daytime or sparkling stars at night. Get in the habit of finding at least 10 things to be grateful for each day to increase your happiness level.
Forgiveness is freedom. There is a key that opens the door to healing, happiness and peace, that key is forgiveness. Forgiveness starts from you and it is the greatest gift you can give yourself. Forgiveness of both self and others is the most powerful tool we have, and it is readily attainable to all of us .Take a step of creating a kinder humanity by forgiving someone in your life. If you are convinced and ready to forgive, you may be wondering where to start. My suggestion is to start small by letting go of the grudges, bitterness and anger.
that there are others in this world who are not so wealthy as you and who are in need of
Forgiveness is the act of releasing an offender of any wrong or hurt they may have caused you whether they deserve it or not. It is a decision to let go of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group of people. When we choose to forgive, we’re wiping the slate clean, cancelling a debt, or as I love to say, “Letting it go.” In the Bible, the Greek word for forgiveness literally means to “let it go.” This concept, “forgiveness,” is easier said than done. Majority of people find it very difficult to let go of offenses and hurts caused by others. I really do believe that most people desire to let it go, but we lack the knowledge of how to do it. As believers, we are instructed by God maintain an attitude of forgiveness.
As you come to love yourself more fully do so with gratitude. Love your faults and look for the best in your body. As you move forward in reaching your goals support yourself love by honoring your body. Make goals to eat healthier and exercise regularly. Your body is your temple—treat it as such. And in so doing, your love will expand, you will become more passionate about life, you’ll be able to think better, and you’ll be happier and healthier.
