Much has been said about love, but if you search the horizon, you will discover that most of the things written about love are either pithy or cynical.
Society in general can be cruel and heartless toward real virtue of any kind. In the most popular venues, love is seldom dealt with with any degree of sobriety. Modern humor mocks marriage, husbands and wives, then glorifies every conceivable breech of virtue, such as sexual immorality, profane and obscene values.
Real love is a mystery to most people. Most people never realize the true potential or value of love, nor do they learn to practice the art of love. It is usually very poorly defined. People think they are in love, but they can’t explain it. There is a great deal of confusion and cross-referencing of the terms LOVE, ROMANCE, INFATUATION, AFFECTION, TENDERNESS and so forth.
Love may include romance, infatuation, affection and tenderness. But even if those elements are not present, it could still be love.
A lot of people will tell you that they are in love, or that they have been in love, but there is a huge disparity between one person’s definition of love and another’s.
Two of my favorite statements on love are:
Love is a choice to do the highest good for someone.
Love is the bond of perfectness (Colossians 3:14):
It is the perfect glue.
Love is noble and idealistic. Love is the highest of all the virtues. God Himself is love. Paul classified faith, hope and love as the highest virtues, and concluded that lov...

There are just so many types of love. Many people will state that at one point in their life they can truly pin point a time when they knew that they were in love. People will also say that in that relationship they had true love and that there was affection in it too. Affection exists apart from the other loves.
Gradually, features like voicemail were added, but the main purpose was talk. Eventually, cell phone companies began to realize that they could integrate other technologies into their phone and expand its features. The earliest smartphones let users access email, and use the phone as a fax machine, pager, and address book. James Katz, an information technologist and author of “Is Cell Phones a New Culture” , a article in the Popular Science magazine. This article’s mission to deliberate the original purpose of a mobile device. Katz explains “ ... To clarify, it isn 't a bad thing that cell phones have moved away from their original purpose, because with smartphones and the technology, they are able to do things that no one could ever dream of. Modern mobile phones all have e-mail, games, social media, movies, and messaging, all features that can be accessed but, cell phones original intent were to be able to communicate through voice remotely.” Taking this into consideration, cell phones don 't even serve that purpose , thanks to apps like GoSms, Instant Message,Snapchat,Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and many more, people are not even utilizing their oral communication skills nearly as much as they should. Surveys reveal that 88% of teens prefer to communicate via text than phonecall. Today, majority of the population owns a cell phone, but how many of us can survive without one
They give us the freedom to contact people anywhere at any time. If there is a sudden change of plans, people can contact one another by texting a quick short sentence in a matter of seconds. Cell phones act as first responders at a scene when someone is hurt and needs help. New-aged cell phones are programed with a built in tracking device that can be used to locate a kidnapped victim, stolen car, or purse.
What is love? The age-old question arises once more. In truth, a universal definition has not been agreed upon, but generally one can define love as “an indication of adoration” or an “an ineffable feeling of intense attraction shared in interpersonal and sexual relationships.” Love can be directed towards kin, a lover, oneself, nature, or humanity- but regardless that love in an emotional sense is eternal. Some fall into love, and some claim they fall out. Love should be endless, lasting, and pure, but half of the time that love ends up being a sham. There is solid record of this false love- love that is meant to look pure- in the famous writings The Lottery and To His Coy Mistress.
Love is like a rose that blossoms into great beauty. Love starts with a seed that has been carefully planted in the garden. Love is much like when meeting someone for the first time. Getting to know each other is just our roots planting firmly in the ground. With each day love is growing stronger and stronger. In the poem by Ezra Pound, “The River Merchant’s Wife: A Letter” the wife married at fourteen and by the time she was sixteen her love had grown so much that she longed for her beloved husband to come home. The speaker tel...
Cell phone technology dates all the way back to 1947. “In that year researchers first developed ideas as to the possibility of creating mobile phones that used "cells" that would identify a user in whatever specific region he or she was initiating the call from” (Cell Phone World). Still the technology was very limited at the time, so much more extensive research was required. In 1968 private companies started getting involved with cell phone development, such as AT&T. The FCC (The Federal Communications Commission) then opened new frequencies and the private companies had the theory of cellular towers. Each tower would be responsible for a particular region. When a customer traveled farther a way from one region it would switch the call to a closer tower with no interruption. In 1977 public cell phone testing had begun. People in Baltimore, Chicago, and Washington were the first to be eligible for cell phone trials. In 1979 a company in Japan began doing cell phone testing with the public. Not until 1983 were cell phones really available. “The year 1988 changed many of the technologies that had become standard in the past. The Cellular Technology Industry Association was created to set realistic goals for cellular phone providers and research new applications for cell phone development” (Cell Phone World). In a way they still were not very accessible to the public, due to their extremely high operating cost to the consumer. Only the very wealthy could afford cell phones. Important heads of cooperation’s, movie stars, and top government officials were able to afford the luxury of a mobile phone.
Love is said to be one of the most desired things in life. People long for it, search for it, and crave it. It can come in the form of partners, friends, or just simply family. To some, love is something of a necessity in life, where some would rather turn a cold shoulder to it. Love can be the mixture of passion, need, lust, loyalty, and blood. Love can be extraordinary and breathtaking. Love being held so high can also be dangerous. Love can drive people to numerous mad things with it dangerously so full of craze and passion.
...r love. When you love you are your most vulnerable to hurt. Sharing your love is the most risky thing you will ever do. It can either be the most rewarding effort or it can be the most devastating effort. If you invest yourself in someone, and give them your very best, and they respond positively to your love, you will experience great satisfaction. If, however, you invest in someone, and give them your very best, and they do not respond positively, or they do not respond at all, or they respond negatively, it is likely to be one of the most painful experiences of your life. People who have failed at love often vow to never loving again. To the person who has been hurt, love is perceived as the source of their great pain. Rejection is one aspect that nobody wants to live with.
The Definition of Love Love by definition is an emotion explored in philosophy, religion, and literature, often as either romantic love, the fraternal love of others, or the love of God based on the definition found in The Encarta Encyclopedia. As I explored the definitions through the Internet, books, and articles, I noticed the definitions changed quite a bit, but yet had the same basic understanding. The definition I found in The Encarta Encyclopedia is probably the most simple and most basic. It refers to love in the whole aspect, which is Godly, fraternal, and romantic. All of which can only be defined by one word and that is love.
When you think of online shopping one of the first things you think of is Amazon. Amazon has one of the best supply chain systems in the world. Launched in 1995 as an online bookstore, it is now the largest online retailer in the U.S. With an online inventory of 170 million products, Amazon has an innovative supply chain management system that creates a highly competitive advantage. This “tour” of Amazon will go over some of the operations and what makes Amazon the company it is.
Love is an interpersonal relationship developed, maintained, and possibly destroyed through communication, but also can be enhanced by communication. Love is often described as a feeling of closeness, caring, intimacy and commitment between two people. There are six different types of love: eros, ludus, storge, pragma, mania, and
Love is not a god as the fine philosophers of Greece once suggested. Love is something far more powerful and universal, for not all people believe in gods, yet people cannot refuse the existence of love. Instead, love is a condition of the human body that cannot be denied. True love is obstinate; in the way that music pours into the ears of an audience, love pouring into the heart of a man cannot be stopped, denied, or set off course. Love is a natural instinct. You cannot artificially make love where there is none or where it does not belong. Yet, the condition of being in love grows independent of all rationale. It grows places where an observer may not understand its existence. Attempting to fight love in such a situation leaves even powerful and noble families, such as the Capulets and Montagues, suddenly powerless. When love takes control of two souls, it takes the lovers on a journey. The journey is the growth of love throughout its many progressive stages. In this way, the growth of love between two people is analogous to the growth and development of a painted masterpiece. A work of art and a bond of love both have distinct stages and characteristics. A painting initially begins with a vision in the mind of the artist. This vision is a perfect vision that the artist will strive to replicate on her canvas. Similarly, love often begins on a visual level based on the physical attractions between two people. The vision of the painter is soon transformed into quick, loose sketches. The pencil freely marks the page; the artist has no control over where it goes, he merely paints. Similarly, lovers have no control over their new feeling of love that has taken over their bodies and rendered them helpless. After an artist has loos...
First, we need to know what love is in order to identify it. From a biblical point of view, love is defined as, “love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud (Corinthians 13:4)” It goes on to include that love is not selfish, not disrespectful, it forgives, trusts, hopes, and protects. The Four Loves, written by C.S. Lewis, defines love as a focus on another person and accepting him/her completely for who he/she is. It is the unselfish giving of yourself. Love and other emotions: On the process of feeling, by Jason Brown, defines love as a source of importance and value.
