The (2-14) Los Angeles Lakers are in ‘Philly’ to match up with the (0-18) Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. After another slow start, the Lakers competed hard down the stretch with the Indiana Pacers only to come up short 107-103.
This contest looks like a battle of futility; of course Kobe Bryant’s upcoming retirement, last game in Philadelphia in addition to a matchup of the number two overall pick in the NBA draft D’Angelo Russell and the number four overall pick, who several felt the Lakers would select Jahlil Okafor adds some intrigue.
