Longganisa it is one of the delicacies in the Philippines that has been adapted from Spain. It is a sausage and like a chorizo. In the Philippines there are kinds of longganisa from different towns, there are sweet or salty flavor. The longganisa can be made from different meat like pork, chicken or beef. The towns in the Philippines that produces longganisa are Vigan, Tuguegarao, Alaminos, Calumpit, Cebu, Cabanatuan, Bacolod, Guinobatan, and Lucban. Longganisa was always partnered with fried rice, and egg which is called longsilog. Longsilog was traditionally a breakfast meal in the country and the other silog also. Our group came up with an idea that we will use longganisa as a substitute ground meat for meals like spaghetti, tacos, shawarma and etc. Instead of making it partnered with rice only. We also think that if it’s going to be partnered with rice there will be some twist. If it’s a rice meal the longganisa will have different flavors like adobo flavor, barbecue flavor, hot and spicy, and etc. We chose Lucban Longganisa to be used for the ideas we’ve made. True to the name, this lasagna contains eggplant, which is from southeastern Asia. This lasagna has ingredients which are all mainly from the “Old World”. Some of the them include oregano, thyme, and ricotta cheese, which are all from Italy. The only ingredient that is from the Americas is one that is in the marinara sauce, and that is tomatoes. Technically, this lasagna could be made with pesto sauce, with herbs already located in the “Old World”. However, the recipe calls for marinara sauce. This dish could have existed without the exchange, provided that a pesto sauce was substituted for the marinara sauce. Still, most would prefer the marinara sauce to the pesto sauce in a

In today's society, most people are unable to explain the differences between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. In fact, the two parties' ideologies seem to be very much alike; and therefore, people tend to believe that a Republican candidate and a Democratic candidate running for the same office will not make a large difference from one another. Furthermore, both Democrats, the supposedly liberal party, and Republicans, the supposedly conservative party, have been appointed to the highest office, the President of the United States of America. In most cases, the President has been effective in building notable progress in our nation's growth, regardless of the political party that they belong to. Hence, most people believe that the two parties are similar enough that they are practically the same. Upon closer examination into the history of the Democratic and the Republican parties, we are able to determine that the political philosophies from which they originate have completely opposing ideologies.
The concept of Supermarkets is not new to Indian consumers. In the past few years there has been a significant rise in the number of supermarkets, especially in the metropolitans. Supermarkets in India, houses varied shops selling different types of essential commodities along with luxury items. These Supermarkets are mainly concentrated in urban areas or semi-urban areas. Supermarkets operating in India typically have a heterogeneous mixture of large and small individual retailers. Most of these Supermarkets sell branded products of both, domestic and international manufacturers. Supermarkets of India offer products with different price bands for each and every sections of urban society. All these supermarkets claim to work on the principle that “the consumers must have the freedom of choice”. The customer is supposed to feel daunted-bewildered, at the large number of choices that he is offered. It is no wonder that most of these supermarkets look the same. Breathtaking amount of research have gone into designing these places. A customer is forced to go past thousands of other products in order to search for what he needs. The concern of the supermarkets in to increase their sales and in order to do so they manipulate the customers and their purchasing prowess into making them purchase items that they want to sell. The recipe which caught my eye was a Moroccan lamb tagine. The problem was I did not have a tagine, which is a cooking vessel, but I did make it in a pot. Morocco is located at the northwestern edge of Africa. Again most of the ingredients were readily available at the local supermarket or the African market. The tagine needed seventeen separate ingredients including meat, oil, spices, vegetables, and fruits. Again this was a recipe which took more than one day to prepare, as the lamb was marinated overnight. It was an easy one pot meal. All of the ingredients were mixed together and allowed to stew for two to three hours before serving. I also made some saffron rice to serve with the tagine. Using the injera as an eating utensil, I tried my meal. The Moroccan lamb tagine was too sweet for my taste and I did not enjoy it. The injera, it did not taste any better with the

America prides itself on being a democracy when in fact, these ideals are only a political illusion. The Constitution of the United States deems the nation a republic, thus regarding the people’s desire to be a democracy, yet there is much evidence that suggests America is an oligarchy. While a republic’s citizens elect many representatives to make governmental decisions on their behalf, an oligarchic country is controlled by a small group of elites. The idea of America being an oligarchy assumes that elites have the power in many aspects of government, such as the election process and the Electoral College, in Congress, and federal judges in the Supreme Court. The Constitution creates a political illusion of democracy that gives the impression of the people having power in the many aspects of government when, in reality, the elites dominate the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary branches of government, creating an oligarchy.
We served best quality food to satisfaction of buyer. Our main weakness is we provide better than other cafe but other competitor in lowest price.
Throughout the years, American politics have changed from no real party affiliation, to recognizing multiple parties, but today, we focus on two. The Republican Party and the Democratic Party; each with its own sets of ideals and views on policy, many Americans follow the party footsteps to the legislation door, and then to the voting booths. Americans have strong party identity and seem to majorly vote accordingly. Political scientists and analysts alike can debate for days about rather our current two party system is beneficial or detrimental to American Society.
“I have already intimated to you the danger of parties… and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of [political parties]” (George Washington, Farewell Address). The American government is corrupt. The use of political parties is the downfall of the country. Political Parties have been present in American politics since the country was first formed. In fact, one of the two major parties in America, the Democratic Party, is the oldest party to still exist in the world. Aside from the Democratic Party, the second biggest party in America is the Republican Party. These two parties have rivaled against one another since the beginnings of America. Each was originally formed based on the arguments and beliefs of the Federalists
Our technology-driven society serves as a breeding ground for complaints and conspiracies alike, creating a hostile landscape for the average political participant. Personally, I trust my government and believe that I have an ability to influence change, to a limited extent. For example, I can choose from a selection of candidates to fill the presidential office, creating the illusion of a fair democracy. However, those running in the two major parties get the added benefit of multi-million dollar endorsements and increased media coverage, effectively suffocating third party and independent candidates. This frustration is cyclical in nature and spills into other facets of political life as well, creating an environment of hostility. This in turn negatively impacts the overall views of democracy, as no two candidates receive equal coverage and fair opportunities. This sentiment is echoed in the American masses, as the average trust on the government efficiency at addressing domestic matters is at a record breaking low of 38%
In this day and age we are seeing what George Washington for told as the “the baneful effects of the spirit of party”3. These parties are tearing our nation apart, and it is being torn more now than it ever has
