London Derby Officiating a game in the English Premier League (EPL) is a hard job for any referees. Indeed, it is harder when it comes to be the biggest derby in London and also between the first place of the league, Chelsea, and the second place, Arsenal. It is known for the EPL to be one of the aggressive and rougher soccer leagues over the world, because of the intense competition between teams. The match ends up with scoreless draw. However, there were controversy cases that the head referee, Michael Oliver, and his assistance referee left for the people to discus about. The first case was after the first quarter hour of the play, when Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Ospina, clattered into Chelsea’s striker, Oscar, on the play, prompting Chelsea
to appeal for a penalty—and perhaps even a red card—against Arsenal. But referee Michael Oliver denied Chelsea's claims, awarding only a corner. The second case happened when Chelsea appealed for another penalty in the 23rd minute, when Fabregas went to ground following contact in the box with Santi Cazorla. Oliver waved off their protests again, instead booking Fabregas for simulation. Another controversy case but this time was for the home team Arsenal. In the 34th minute, when Bellerin pulled back a pass into the middle for Cazorla, whose first-time shot struck Gary Cahill's outstretched hand as the Chelsea defender slid to block. Despite the home side protests, Oliver waved play on again. In general, despite of these cases, which could highly change the game score, the officials did many right decisions and led the game to a safely and fairly competition between the two teams.
Located on the third-floor, arched ceiling, Edward Laning’s mural Prometheus watches over the many travelers, students, and New Yorkers who visit the New York Public Library in Manhattan. This mural was created in 1942 under the New Deal’s Work Progress Administration and was never part of Laning’s original collection, The Story of the Recorded Word, that adorned the McGraw Rotunda. Prometheus was a mural that was later added to the rotunda ceiling in January 1942, but unlike the other murals, it did not depict the story of the recorded word. This mural instead showed the myth of Prometheus, the Greek Titan who stole the fire from the gods at Mount Olympus and gave it to mankind. In this mural, we see Prometheus in the middle flying above a
The tragic poem, “The Ballad of Birmingham,” begins with a young child asking an imploring question to her mother, “May I go downtown instead of out to play” (Randall, 669)?
American football in the past several years have really developed, not only from the fans perspective but also from the players and the official heads. Safety is the most important topic talked about in all sports but it is a must in football, especially because of the way the game is played with all of the tackles and hits. It is really important not only for the players to be safe but also the officials to keep it safe. Both players and officials play a key role in making the game of football safe and interesting to watch for the fans and a great experience for the players as well. As said in the Denver Post, players are expected to play with the rules…coaches are expected to teach…and game officials to emphasize the rules. The game of football, in the NFL, is safer than it has ever been because of the rules, penalties and the equipment.

Bourbon Street known as rue bourbon in French sits in the heart of one of the oldest neighborhoods in New Orleans called the French Quarters. I called Bourbon Street an all-night party. Most people come from all around the world to enjoy the festivities. They also have locals that will go on Bourbon to have a nice time. Bourbon Street can also be like Halloween, you do not know if you are getting a trick or treat.
A heated argument amongst fans escalated. Taunting ensued. Insults exchanged. When throwing words proved ineffective, the instigators tried hurling coins.
I grew up in the Catholic faith, I’ve always been told to pray to God about anything. Giving thanks, repenting, needing help and just someone to talk to when no one else can. When I was in church school I loved to listen to the priest in mass about short story miracles within our community. Church was my sacred house, the one place I felt safe and connected with God whenever I had family or life issues. However, not all sacred places are safe. The poem “Ballad of Birmingham” by Dudley Randall made me realize that the safest places on earth can destroyed by hatred. A small sign of situational irony, the title itself is very unique because during the Civil Rights Movement, there was so much change due to racial segregation and discrimination towards people of color. African Americans wanted to be treated equally like the whites, they wanted to have an education, have a house, be able to sit in the front of the bus and drink water from any fountain.

William Blake makes a pointed critique of the society and institutions of the English Government in his poem, "London." Throughout the poem Blake presents an image of man against society. He directly accuses several institutions and society itself of creating the tyranny that is controlling the people of London. He alludes to the struggle of the classes, the upper-class controlling the lower, as being the reason for the problems in London. This conflict of classes is the reason for the oppression and tyranny that the people of London are forced to live under. The upper-class has to control the lower classes by subjugating them and forcing them to live by their rules. Blake writes the poem using a speaker "wandering" through the streets of London and observing what is going on. The speaker himself does not seem to be connected to the society but just someone going through it.

The goalkeepers are the only players allowed to touch the ball with their hands, while it is in play and then only in their penalty area. ’’ Outfield players mostly use their feet to strike or pass the ball, but may use their head or chest to strike the ball as an alternative. The team that scores the most goals by the end of the match wins. If the score is equal at the end of the game, either a draw is declared or the game goes into extra time or a penalty shootout depending on the format of the competition.
