Local Food or Not Locavores are making their mistakes when they make their lifestyle seem not as good as they say it is, like when they look past certain major energy consuming factors in producing food, people can make smart choices for their nutrition just by what they eat even if it is local or not and then they also have many definitions to describe what it is which can confuse the meaning in general. Everyday, we all look at our world and wonder what we can do to save it. There are always things we name and some of those things we actually act on. To start with, you don’t need to eat locally grown foods just to have good nutrition. While reading Source B, it talked about how quickly food loses nutrition when it’s harvested. showing that, regardless, the nutrition begins to fade right away when it's harvested so even if it's a shorter distance it loses some nutrition regardless. For Example, in Source B it states“That doesn’t mean it is necessary to eat locally in order to be healthy. In fact, a person making smart choices from the global megamart can easily meet all the body’s needs.”Exposing how regardless, you don’t necessarily need local food to be healthy. As long as you make smart choices, you can be healthy and meet your body's needs.
