Living Proof
A radical nut can be screaming at you off a street corner shouting something about your soul and a “God” who loves you. He yells “God is real, save your soul!” and no one stops to think much more then “This guy is crazy!”. Where is the proof in that? This is one of the major problems people have when trying to understand a higher power. This essay will consist of mind bending proof that we walk by each day, and the changing effects of having faith in Jesus Christ.
It’s safe to say that many people of this age believe in a higher power, as did many hundreds of years ago. In fact Adolf Hitler wanted to kill every living Jew because they thought that God had told him them to do it. The ancient Egyptians worshipped

Any cat owner can tell you that cats have never gotten over it! Statistics of today show that 1.7 billion people world wide are Christians and that 875 million are Sunni Islamic. Recent Canadian Census only counted 21,975 agnostics (someone who is uncertain about the existence of God) and a surprising total of 1.3 million North
Americans are atheists (has no belief in God). That makes up 0.5% of the North
American people.
Many people say “I need proof” as they are walking past a tree that gives that gives them the very oxygen they need to live. We as humans take for granted the proof that is around us each day. Creation itself is working proof of God. A tiny ant is complete with a brain and nervous system, the planets are perfectly aligned for us to neither freeze nor burn, we have teeth to chew, nails to scratch and cells so complex we can function.
Speaking of complexity look at our bodies, our bones and blood so perfectly designed..
After a few biology classes most of us can agree that life was created on purpose. When one evaluates the scientific evidence for the existence of a creator and accept evolution instead, they have more faith then any Christian. They have faith in chance, by which somehow everything came to be.
The thing that is so amazing about this eternal, devoted creator is that of all
For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. (Colossians 1:16, AMP)
They have been called "gods." These almighty, powerful beings that are far too superior for us to understand; or so most of us have been made to believe. Some may say he is a Great Examiner, others could say he is the Creator. Some could even say he doesn't exist. Frankly, what I want to emphasize is how such beliefs could reduce even the bravest and strongest of us all to a whimpering child. Something that we ar...

In Conclusion, Understanding Polio’s etiology, history and epidemiology, as well as proper treatments will assist in avoiding its return. Although polio has been known to substantially affect a wide population in a small amount of time, eradication of this disease may also be accomplished in a short period of time. Scientists and medical professionals continue to research this disease in order to better understand and maintain it for many years to come. There are still aspect of the disease people do not understand that may be vital for the future of a polio-free world.

Today there are many infectious diseases around the world. An infectious disease is defined as an infection which can be caused by the entrance, development and manipulation of microorganisms in the body. Infections are classified as emerging and re-emerging. An emerging disease is a disease that has appeared in a population for the first time, or that it may have happened previously but is rapidly increasing in incident or geographic range. Whereas a re-emerging disease is a disease that has been present at a location in the past and was considered eradicated or controlled. Some emerging and re-emerging disease present today and in the past are, HIV and Aids, Ebola, Hendra Virus as emerging diseases and Malaria, Tuberculosis, and Cholera as re-emerging diseases. In this report the re-emerging disease ‘Poliomyelitis’ will be thoroughly investigated and from reliable research, the effectiveness of the management to prevent this disease in the world will be evaluated. Poliomyelitis, often called ‘polio’ or ‘infantile paralysis’ is an infectious disease caused by a virus. This dangerous infectious disease has been eradicated around the world except for three countries, Nigeria, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
According to the theory of evolution, approximately 3.8 billion years ago some chemicals accidentally structured themselves into a self-replicating molecule. This beginning spark of life was the ancestor of every living thing we see today. Through the processes of mutation and natural selection, that simplest life form, has been shaped into every living species.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has listed immunizations as the number one greatest public health achievement in the 20th century. This attainment towards the goal of health and safety is a huge success for not only our country but from the global perspective as well. Immunizations help to prevent illness and death from vaccine-preventable diseases. The World Health Organization states that global vaccination coverage has remained consistent for the past few years; for example, the percentage of infants fully vaccinated against diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis has held secure at 83%. Programs for population-wide vaccinations have helped with the annihilation of polio in America since the late 1970’s, the eradication of smallpox, and the control of numerous other infectious diseases in the United States and other parts of the world.
By the year 1991 polio was eliminated from the Western Hemisphere. We can see the dramatic
Jung insisted pleasure seeking, and conflict resolution is a part of human nature: Plus, religion and mystical archetypal combined influence one’s personality and behavior. Some conflicts arise due to repressed ancestral memories and past experiences that can impact the individual’s future aspirations (Alho, 2009). Likewise, Carlisle (1993) recalled, dissociative behaviors appear as pathological manifestations necessary for the conscious to operate unhampered by life’s demands. In this respect, dissociation applies to the natural hierarchy of the human psyche, with underlying attitudes for normal functioning. Adding the “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde functionality of the human mind” (p. 25). Carlisle (1993) concluded, each bare reason for the structural interplay between the adult, parent, and Gerald’s child-self.
Carl Jung was born in 1875 in the country of Switzerland and later passed in 1961. He was a very influential psychologist who founded the habits of analytic psychology in response to Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. He had many findings and research that still affect psychology today. As a child, Jung spent most of his time alone and, thus, had a rather disappointing childhood. He felt happiest wh...
The Polio epidemic that plagued the world in the 20th century has become contained to only a few developing countries. Since the discovery of the polio vaccine and the global initiative to eradicate polio the incidence of cases has decreased 99% worldwide. However the remaining 1% of the lingering polio cases in the world is proving to be difficult to eradicate. With the highlighted human qualities that have been so successful in the past need to be highlighted in the future in order to be successful. But these qualities are only as successful as the adaptive initiatives that allow these human qualities to thrive and succeed. Also with improved socio-economic conditions in the remaining effected developing countries that dream of a polio free world is possible.
In this essay I discuss why there is proof that there is a supernatural being known as God, who has created everything we know and experience. The mere claim, that there could be a "Proof for the Existence of God," seems to invite ridicule. But not always are those who laugh first and think later. Remember how all-knowing doctors/scientists laughed at every new discovery?
Theistic evolutionist believe that there is a God and also that the evolution theory. There is two different categories of theistic evolution. The first one is that God exists but he was not directly involved in the creation of life. He created the building blocks and made laws at which the nature should react. After this he stepped back and let the laws he created take over. He therefore no longer decides what happens but rather let life do what it wants whatever it may be. The second option is in contrast to the first theistic evolution theory. People who believe in this second category believe that the evolution theory may be true but if it is true it was God who led this step by step. They believe that he still performed miracles and still do. Theistic evolutionists believe that the earth is billions of years old and that other animals lived long before the human was created. The reason they believe this is because of fossil records. Theistic evolutionists does not believe Genesis 1 of the bible. They do not believe that the earth were created just six days (Houdmann).
Growing up I was raised in a religious household, so, of course, I’m a big believer in God and my faith. To me, God is the creator of all and I believe Judgment Day is going to come very soon. The definition of faith is the belief in God or in the doctrines or teachings of religion. My faith and the reason for my faith goes hand in hand because it makes me know the truth and opens my eyes to this world. Also, I get clarity of why I’m in this world which is to make it a better place. But seeing the world as faith with reason or reason with faith has a few challenges and can make things a little bit difficult. Same goes for science and religion which butt heads a lot. Some may feel that the Big Bang Theory created
