I love life and I love living life to the fullest. So far life has treated me pretty good. There have been plenty of ups and downs, but so far nothing has stopped me. I treat each day like it’s a new day because I will never know what will happen next. I have been in several accidents over the last several years. Just to name a few of my accidents now I have seizures, I have now spleen (weak immune system) and I have three screws, and two plates holding me together.
When I was 14 years old I was climbing a bunk bed and I fell down and hit my head on a dresser and had the biggest cartoon knot on the back of my head. Ever since that night in 1994 I started having seizures. I guess I knocked something loose in my brain. I have been taking seizure medication for over 20 years and so far so good as long as I take my seizure medication. I stopped taking in 2009 and had one seizure from that day forward I take my medication like I should doctor’s orders. I’m the doctor of love I am, but not the doctor of seizures.
Another accident I had was a bad bicycle accident and because of that I have no spleen, the spleen a one of many filters in your body that helps with colds. It was a warm spring day in 1996, I was riding my bicycle home from Athens Drive high school, all of a sudden there I was flying over my handle bars and landing on the pavement during five o’clock traffic on Tryon Rd. Traffic was at a standstill and not one single person got out to see if I was ok. My left arm was bleeding, and my bicycle handle bars were bent and I was internal bleeding, which I did not know at the time because I knocked the wind out of my body. I picked up my bicycle and pushed my bike to some local apartments where I know some people. They went in ...

...he weights sharp pain would go all the way up my leg. My arm was not as bad all they did while waiting for surgery was to set it in place with a temporary wrap. The doctors did the surgery of my right pelvis and my left arm all on the same day. I had to two for one special. I was in the hospital for about one week. I got out the following Monday and had a long road to recovery. After I got home I had to start physical therapy and that was a pain in the pelvis.
So over the last 34 years I have been in a lot of accidents, they have slowed me down but nothing has stopped me. Since my accidents I have sky dived, traveled to different countries, I have ran two 5k’s and had many adventures in my life. I live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it. I advice you do the same. I think I have at least four lives left. We will see.
