Littering Trash Affects Animals Did you ever look outside your window and see the beauty of the Earth? People should stop littering because it can cause damage to animals, animals get sick and eventually die, the trash affects the animal's body. It is proven that animals get hurt because we are bad at throwing trash in the garbage can. Additionally littering is bad because animals get hurt and sick from the trash. Furthermore owners of their pets do not want to them to get hurt. Some owners don’t care about their pets and don’t care if they get hurt or sick. But I believe every owner should be concerned about littering. Stop Littering because it harms animals and makes the animals get sick and die. Animals get hurt from the trash
because we are not careful with the trash and we are just bad at throwing trash away. (According to the article “ How Trash affects Animals”) it states we are just lazy at throwing trash away that is causing them to eat it get sick and eventually die. This statement proves that animals get hurt because of us and how bad we are at throwing trash away. The cans on his limbs had been on for so long he had learned to walk in them on and both front limbs were completely damaged. Renata Schneider has seen a number of trash related injuries, Birds poisoned from lead weights,Skunks with yogurt containers stuck to their heads, and birds eyes poked out from fishing hooks. Also some animals are exposed to chemicals in food, Animals are injured and they become ill. They die each year due to humans and careless pollution and litter, In Hawaii more than 1,000 small pieces of plastic were found in a sea turtle. (In the article How Trash Affects Animals?) Some owners worry when they see litter on the ground this can cause animals harm. There is evidence that is proven that littering should be stopped. Trash is so effective that raccoons paws were stuck in beer cans. The Animals choke on trash and it affects the animal's body. Animals get affected by the trash that gets stuck into the animal’s body. Additionally the trash that gets stuck into the animal’s body is so bad for the body because the trash messes the body up. Furthermore when people are not careful to properly dispose of trash and household toxic substance wild animals suffer. We need to demand people to stop littering so we seea beautiful place and no animals that died.
Animal hoarding is a very common issue, and is not being reported the way that it should be. These situations need to stop being overlooked and dealt with correctly, not only to save the animals’ lives, but to keep the owner and their family in wellbeing. Animals are very important and should be taken care of very well. When they are put into a hoarding situation they cannot go out and get the help that they need. We need to be their voice and speak up for them. It is necessary to learn the signs and behaviors of animal hoarding.
We need to also figure out a way to stop people from littering into our waterways. I was thinking maybe close off the passages along the street so adults and children don’t even have the opportunity to litter in these waterways.
Animal hoarding is an issue in every division of society around the world (Donaghey 2011). Whether rich or poor, there may still be an animal hoarder living right next door (Donaghey 2011). In some situations there may be obvious signs that a person is a hoarder; however, others live seemingly regular lives to the public eye and the problem is growing. Animal hoarding is a growing problem because of the lack of understanding of the issue and lack of action.
It is clear that people, who litter, do not realize the dangerous effects they are causing or the consequences of it. For starters, debris, scattered fragments, can be carried into local waterways, which can nearly cause billions of debris to show up in the ocean each year. What most people do not see, is litter can be a severe fire hazard. For example, if someone just finished smoking a cigarette and then decides to throw the butt of it on the ground, then it is possible that the h...
We have trash and garbage cans for a reason, so why throw away your trash on the floor when you could throw it away in its intended place? Everyone knows that littering is wrong, but why people still do that?
If everyone recycled think of how much more space there would be in landfills across the world. There is only so much room on this earth and we are using a huge portion of it for our trash. Clearlake, California alone on a busy day can bring in 80,000 pounds of trash to the local dump. I know this because I work at the local dump in Mckinleyville. I also see a lot of people that throw away their recycling for the simple reason of being too lazy to sort it. I watch bag after of bag of plastic, aluminum, and glass get thrown into the bin which we haul straight to a landfill in Anderson, California. If everyone in Mckinleyville recycled there plastic, aluminum and glass they could save thousands of pounds a day from going to the landfill. I think people are not informed that waste is a big problem in this world. But in fact conservation is an issue, and resources and energy aren't too plentiful. Someday these resources are going to run out. But the more we recycle the longer we can make these resources last.
Do you know that there are about three trillion pounds of garbage on Earth? Sadly, these pieces of garbage kill animals when they eat the garbage because the garbage has a lot of harmful pathogens which sometimes give them serious diseases. Even the air pollution in the landfill can also harm the animals which can be a real danger to them because they can die or suffer in pain. If people recycle, then it wouldn't create this problem which is going on the world. People should recycle because it saves energy, reduces landfills, and saves money.
About 2.6 trillion pounds will be thrown away this year. Of the trash thrown away on Earth, 46% is organic waste, 27% is recyclable, and the other 27% is glass, metals, and other materials. This trash sits in dumps, on streets, and in the water. If all trash were to all just
However, many people just talk without taking any action. As an old sentence said a man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. We cannot do anything if we never take actions. So, how can we start? For my personal experience, to protect the environment, we should start from ourselves, from little things such as throw waste into the garbage. If we do these things day by day, we can influence the people who around us. I think the environment will be better than before in our
Have you ever wonder what can you do about the bottles and cans you find around you? People that doesn?t care about the world being clean is littering the place. It makes things very difficult to put up for. Recycling cans and bottles can help save the earth form waste and trash buildup and can make new things. I think that recycling should be mandatory and there should be recycling cans in various locations at school and everywhere else.
What we should do about it is put a lot of trash cans by the ocean. Having all this trash in the ocean really is unnecessary. We could possible make a big net and tie it on a helicopter and pick up the trash like that. People can die by having all this trash in the ocean. I just don’t understand why people don’t care where there trash goes so they put it where ever they want. We can probably not allow any food or drink or bags get on the beach unless its items that people need. It’s just so hard to try to keep it clean because everyone doesn’t care about their trash. If anybody doesn’t pick up their trash, nobody is going to pick up their trash. People think because there’s trash flying around the beach that it’s ok for their trash to fly around also. If someone lets a plastic bag fly and hits a baby in the face what is that person going to do? It’s dangerous that trash is out there just like nothing. We as individuals can also stop it by telling our friends and family. If anyone sees trash by them they should take it out. Just don’t ...
...at we need. Clean up the rivers and streams, lakes and oceans. Reduce the use of chemicals and pesticides. But society must do something, even if only donating money to an organization who does. Just do something to help, before even more animals disappear, before all the fish and forests are gone, before the earth has so little diversity that only humans remain.
People should know the negative impact throwing away a water bottle or newspaper, purchasing meat from the grocery store or consuming gasoline has on the environment, and many do not. By informing society about how their decisions affect the environment, we can help save our planet and change our attitude toward the land we live on, the water we drink and the air we breathe” and truly show respect for the stuff that we depend on. The United States produces “about 8.25 billion tons of solid waste each year” (Russell 1). People do not realize the impact they have on our planet and the environment. When people throw anything in the trashcan, they are contributing to the destruction of our planet.
...mproper way of disposing of waste and other materials. Littering not only impacts our environment but also many animals. Even though many people see littering being done they do not do anything to prevent this. One thing that may occur is that many of these wastes that are improperly disposed of finds its way to the ocean or other places. This is something that can be very dangerous for many aquatic creatures because they could think that it is food and this would cause them to choke on it and eventually die. A lot of people litter because they really have no idea of the damage that they are causing our environment. Another reason why people do this is because they are too lazy to dispose the materials into a proper trash can. Most of the litter that is being thrown on the ground eventually goes and finds its way into the sewers and goes into the oceans and lakes.
Nowadays environmental pollution plays a very important role in the biggest questions in our everyday life. It is easy to find there is so much trash around us even in our beautiful campus. For example, these days I usually see some cans, wine bottles, and some paper trash like packaging bags in my way to class. I wake up every day with a smiling face, but at the time I see them, I can not smile anymore. I think no one can stand the green trees, the red flowers growing in the sea of the trash.
