I took part in a many various out of class activities, ranging from being part of the Pocock football team, the Pocock Link crew leadership club, and the NYCE volunteer centre. Link Crew is an extra-curricular leadership group that focuses on team building, and building leadership qualities for its members. Link crew is all about helping the new incoming grade nines to get settled and comfortable in their new high school experience. Link crew helped improve my communication and leadership skills through the aid of the Link crew course. The Link crew course focused on improving group dynamics, people skills, problem solving skills, communication skills, and most importantly leadership skills. The experience was really educational and entertaining
Clubs were a great way for me to expand my interests outside of athletics. I was involved in Key Club and FCA freshman year and I enjoyed meeting new people and making a difference in our community. I was inducted a member of NHS junior year and this was a great way to make service a priority.

One extracurricular activity that I am very passionate about would be the FFA. FFA has taught me so many things and it has brought me so many places. I 've learned how to be a great speaker from different events my advisor has challenged me to do. Public speaking has taken me so many places and I have attributed most of my success to FFA. When I was a freshmen I competed and received gold in the creed speaking competition. As a sophomore, I tried extemporaneous speaking and received a gold for that as well. As a junior I really wanted to challenge myself so I took up agricultural sales as my winter career development experience. I ended up being recognized as the state runner up individual agriculture salesman as well as the 15th best agricultural sales man in the nation. Now as a senior, I have been going around speaking at different school board meetings, advocating
During the time I’ve been in high school I’ve participated in the Hamtramck High School Marching Band both freshman and sophomore years, Physics Olympiad during sophomore year, chess club during freshman year and a drafting competition (the Engineering Society of Detroit, where my group and I won $30,000 scholarship each) during freshman year. Outside of school, I helped out at my local place of worship, the Al-Islah Islamic Center. During the summer, I would volunteer to help the kids improve their reading of our holy book (the Quran). Also the prayer leader (Imam) of the mosque was writing theses instructional Islamic books and he asked me to help him write and edit them. I plan to do more things outside of school and also participate in more clubs next year like robotics and government.
I would be honored to be a Link Crew Leader because it would allow me to practice my leadership skills. I am currently treasurer of the Hispanic Youth Leadership Club here in Turlock High School and am expecting to become president next school year, but, I want to take on more leadership positions in the school to exert my leadership potential. As a person of an official position, I would be capable of guiding freshmen to an enjoyable high school experience.

You’ve heard the advice before “get involved, join a club”, at the University of Montana (UM) we are a very large commuter college, involvement is a good way to develop relationships with other students and to create a sense of community for yourself and others.
Throughout my time in university, I was involved in a lot of extracurricular activities. I wanted to implement my knowledge that I got in university (Project management, organizational behavior, leadership and motivation etc.). From the very beginning I founded my own organization that calls Youth Assembly of Nations. My goal was to unite people of different nationalities and lead them to promote friendship among different nations (more than 150 nationalities live in Kazakhstan). As a result 40 delegates of different nationalities were chosen. Every month we were organizing events such as music festivals, fairs, charity events and promoting our vision of collaboration.
Let’s start with my elementary years. I went to B.H. Grimes Elementary frim pre-k up until fifth grade which I graduated from. I was a honor roll student throughout all seven years of elementary. I was an U.I.L participant from third through fifth grade. I also was a part of the cheer during fourth and fifth grade. I also was in an after school enrichment chess club.
During my spare time I enjoy going to the Theatre to specifically watch musicals like 'Billy Elliot' and 'Cats the Musical'. As well as this I like to socialise with my friends and read various genres like Real Life Tragedies and Horrors. I attended Boys Scouts and Boys Brigade which I enjoyed due to the fact I got to take part in lots of activities like learning Cycling Proficiency. Team work was a key aspect in these activities outside of school because it made it more enjoyable, everyone got along better and it meant that we got to participate in more activities.
For my project, I did many different activities. The first activity I completed was observing a Davidson County School Board meeting on the topic of an information breach that occurred. The next activity I completed was collecting trash around the Ledford High School campus on two different occasions. Then I was a buddy for a Special Olympics athlete when it was held at Ledford. Finally, I was a buddy for multiple athletes at the Miracle League of High Point.
In my freshman year I did not like to get up and present or talk about myself in front of people, but now I can confidently stand in the middle of crowded people and talk about my experience. Link Crew has given me a chance to gain experience and be able to talk to people and communicate. At first, I saw Link Crew as just a program that will give me a graduation sash and will make me look better with it, but while I was forced to communicate I learned how to stand and talk about myself. I also learned how to lead others to my advice and helped me to be a good leader. I want to say I am more stable now and understand what is my strength and weakness and that what made me have a good leadership
Through student activities, students are involved in extracurricular activities which enhance the development of leadership and interpersonal skills. PPA COLGIS encouraged students to involve in the extensive and varied activities available to them to stimulate their interest and interpersonal communication. Through a variety of educational, cultural, and social programs, these programs help students achieve their highest level of academic
My road to participation was a little longer than most, the first two years I attended Henderson High School I just went through the motions of waking up, going to, school and going home. Until last year when I decided to step out of my comfort zone and sign up for Nursery Landscape competition through FFA, which never really inspired change my everyday routine, but paved the way for me to sign up for the Wildlife Team, where I spent countless hours; studying plants and animals, walking through the
