The interview provides a report of the developmental stages of a 32-year old female, who has never married, two children, and living with her fiancé and stepchildren. The interview focuses on individual growth and the quality of lifespan formation during her current age. The subject of the interview presents with questions concerning development levels such as physical growth, motor skills, cognitive development, emotional development, language development, and social development. The eight questions layout and document a clear supportive analysis of the subject growth and development; compare to others her age and the text. The Lifespan Interview The lifespan interview was conducted with a single, engaged female, Thirty-Two years of age.
The purpose was to document the subject’s lifespan with in connection to significant differences and experiences.
The focus of this paper is to compare and contrast a well elder and a frail elder while using Occupational Therapy Practice Framework language. For this assignment I chose to conduct a semi structured interview using the Canadian Occupational performance Measure (COPM) to gather information about my chosen elders perceived problems and priorities. For this assignment I will be using pseudonyms in order to protect the privacy of both individuals.

Helen Bee viewed development through sequences of stages of various events that occur in life. Dr. Helen Bee believed that the changes were due to one’s life experiences which cause maturity in making future decisions from knowledge of past experience. Therefore, past experience can help as a guide to handle future problems. I really enjoyed what Daniel Levinson believed about the changes that were brought on throughout life. She looked at the changes as a set order of sequences that occurred to define age eras of the stage Levinson Knowles, Holton & Swanson (2012). Her stages of sequences development begin at seventeen then proceeded up to the age of forty-five. Now a lot of experiences happen throughout life. As children grow towards adolescence they go through many stages of development. Child development refers to the stages of physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and language growth that occurs from the birth to beginning of adulthood. All aspects of a child's development may be affected by many different factors, including a poor learning environment, lack of social interaction, cultural background differences, abuse, and loss of a parent. All of the before mentioned examples can affect the child's maturation, "a biological growth process that enables orderly changes in behavior, relatively uninfluenced by experience" (Myers 172). Children grow and mature at very different rates, some faster than others, which is why it is necessary to understand the importance of the different types of child development. As I personally take the time to have a reflection over the course of “Child and Adolescent Development” I find myself intrigued with the amount of knowledge I gained during this course this semester. I wanted to take the time to concentrate on three specific areas in which I felt I had the most growth, but also came as a challenge to me as well. It is important when reflecting over a course that I look at what I found to be challenging, as this was an opportunity of growth for me individually. In this paper I will review some of the main topics that I found to be interesting but also resourceful for my future aspiration not only as a family life educator but also a mother one day.
