Well, I’ll be playing with Corey Wagar tonight at The Stone Pony for starters. Its gonna be a “Nashville meets New Jersey” sort of showcase band consisting of all top guys that play with all the national country acts like Taylor Swift, Sara Evans, Josh Turner and many others. This is probably gonna be their first introduction to the Jersey Shore and The Stone Pony so we hope everyone gives them a very warm welcome and makes them feel right at home. We are really excited to be able to make this happen in front of a hometown crowd.
the group is going to break up. To add to the cancellation of their tour they
On the other hand, Luke Bryan had a pretty great life growing up as a child. Thomas Luther Bryan was born on July 17, 1976 (Student Resources). Everyone calls him Luke because that’s what he has preferred since he was a little boy. Luke was into country music ever since he was born. Tons of memories he made with his family, like sitting in a truck singing country music at the top of their lungs. As he grew up and got older he started to play in front of people and start...

"God put us here on the carnival ride, we close our eyes never knowing, where it will take us" (Wheel of the World quoted In "Biography"). Those were the words of Wheel of the World that inspired Carrie Underwood to write her latest album. At only 13 years old, she recorded her first album ("Carrie Underwood Biography"). Underwood also participated in several different competitions around the US to prepare herself to audition for American Idol in 2004 ("Biography"). After winning this contest, she continued to stay humbly as her fame grew. Her contributions to country music are demonstrated by her career and proves beyond a doubt that the Country Music Hall of Fame should induct this singer. She has shown her value through her major works, charities and influences, and professional morals.
For generations, singers and songwriters of country music have been working to evoke emotions in listeners by performing and writing songs that the listeners will be able to relate to. Country music traditionally reveals stories of life, love, death, and values, all of which can be seen in the works of great singers and songwriters like George Strait, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, and Alan Jackson. One artist in particular, Garth Brooks, forever left his stamp on country music and on the hearts of his millions of listeners with his hit songs, “The Beaches of Cheyenne”, “Callin’ Baton Rouge”, and “The River”. “The Beaches of Cheyenne” has a storyline containing themes of life, death, love, and regret. The themes of this song branch out much further than the reaches of country music, and makes this particular song relatable to each and every person. "The Beaches of Cheyenne" by Garth Brooks is the epitome of country music, and largely contributes to the success and popularity of country music by evoking emotions in listeners through means of a storyline that conveys strong emotions, relatable to each and every person. “Callin’ Baton Rouge” is fast-paced, upbeat love song that is able to evoke emotion in listeners because of the strong instrumentals in the song accompanied by meaningful lyrics. “The River” is a song about following dreams no matter what obstacles may be in the way, which makes it inspirational and very relatable to everyone that listens to it.
The next stop is Nashville, the home of country music and the Grand Ole Opry. It began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 but has turned into a worldwide phenomenon. The Opry showcases country music legends and popular contemporaries.
Children’s literature has a subversive linear pattern within the dominant circular journey in traditional children`s literature. The basic pattern in children`s literature is the circular journey. That is, the plot follows the trajectory home-departure from home-adventure-return home. The purpose of the journey is the maturing of the child including the reader, but the return home is a matter of maturity and the change of thinking. In the article, Mid-Summer Night’s Dream it talks about how most fairy tales the protagonists escape from the real world and go on a journey into the fantasy world, which in the end the protagonists return to the real world becoming more self-confident, knowledgeable, and adjusted individual. For example, in the novel, and Water Babies written by Charles Kingsley, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll, and Peter Pan, written by J.M. Barrie’s, we can see many examples of this kind of circular journey to life. The linear pattern is much more attractive but it demands quite an amount of courage for a child to accept the absence of their home and live a “perfect” life. This means that children`s literature has real, argumentative readers, and practical consequential issues.
The son of a star, legend, and many knew him, Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr. changed the way country sounded when he combined it with southern rock and blues. He was born on May 26, 1949, singing his father’s music growing up his whole life he founded that he wanted to sing with a different style then his father. Which he said “Went on the road when I was eight years old, when I turned 15 I was stealing the show,” saying he stole the show from his own father (. In the 1970’s he had started singing his own music and started to get known, then he was severely injured hiking in 1975 and was told he’ll never be on stage again. Two years later he fully recovered and by the 1980’s he was known as one of the top country music singers. Today he still sings and has the top hits of country music, some

With the rise of radio, country music began spreading to the Midwest, Southwest and even the west coast. Coast to coast country music could be heard. Country music sounded a little different in each area of the country but it was the same in the fact that it was all tied to its deep traditions and past (Shmoop Editorial Team, 2008).
It was a cold fall day in San Francisco, California. I was heading to San Jose with my school counselor and some friends to go backpacking for 5 days. I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone and this was definitely fit the description. We were going with a program called Outward Bound. It was my first time doing anything like that so I was feeling pretty anxious. Even though goosebumps were appearing on my skin, I managed to only have a on a t-shirt and some capri pants. I didn’t know what I was getting myself.
There is nothing quite like traveling, going someplace new and finding out more about the world and yourself. Anyone can become a traveler it just takes a little bit of faith and courage. Traveling across the world or even across the country is a learning experience. When you are a traveler you see how people live and how different cultures work. It is the best educational experience you could give yourself. You see how the world works in a way no one can teach you. Seeing different cultures and people help build the person you want to be. If you are a traveler the world influences you, because when traveling, you see the good and the bad, and you learn from the right and the wrong. I am very lucky that I am able to be a traveler and see this
I am planning a trip to my dream destination, the United Kingdom! I have always dreamed of going to London and exploring all of the beautiful landscapes the country has to offer. On my voyage I will be accompanied by my boyfriend, Damian, and my younger sister, Taylor. Before we can begin our journey we have to do the proper research so our trip will be everything we want it to be.
