Weapons have been around from the Neanderthals of the post-ice age, to the Taliban in Afghanistan. Rocks became knives, sticks became spears, and bayonets became AK-47’s. First-person shooter is a video game genre centered on gun and projectile weapon-based combat through a first-person perspective; that is, the player experiences the action through the eyes of the protagonist. The first-person shooter shares common traits with other shooter games, which in turn fall under the heading action game. From the genre's inception, advanced 3D or pseudo-3D graphics have challenged hardware development, and multiplayer gaming has been integral. After masses of video game evolution, along came the call of duty series.
A race of ancient beings hold the only weapon capable of destroying an interstellar force of pure evil that emerges every 5000 years. This weapon happens to be a young woman named LeeLoo, the career launching point for indie actress Mila Jovovich, who was recently genetically re-built with a 3D printer (how eerily relevant) and proceeds to crash into the hover-taxi of special forces veteran Korben Dallas played by exploding movie star Bruce Willis. With the comedy relief of Chris Tucker playing out-of-control radio DJ Ruby Rohd and a mish-mash of influences from 1970's and '80's graphic magazine Heavy Metal, the cult hit Blade Runner, and of course Star Wars is laden throughout The Fifth Element but the story itself is holy original and a wonderful experience. The Matrix changed cinema forever and it's influence can be seen in almost any action movie made today. A Star Wars for the digital age, The Matrix launched Keanu Reeves to super-stardom for his portrayal of Neo, an ordinary computer hacker who learns that he may be the savior of mankind. With the old wizard mentor Morpheus played by Laurence Fishborne guiding Neo through "The desert of the Real" this movie truly captures the imagination during the beginning of the Digital Age, introduces many interesting philosophical questions, and remains a cinematic classic to this

With Halo 3 complete, Bungie - a company that started with just 3 programmers, an artist and a level designer - split it's now 130-person strong development team into two groups. One group worked on Halo 3: ODST, while the other started work on a project that would eventually become Reach. Headed by creative director Marcus Lehto, originally the art director on Halo 1 through 3, the team brainstormed ideas until they hit upon doing a prequel that takes place before the first game, Halo: Combat Evolved. According to Lehto, "Reach, as a fictional planet, was just a great candidate to play around with. It's such a rich world, with such a great fiction surrounding it."

In October 2009, following the news of Nickelodeon purchasing all of Mirage's rights to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property, it was announced that Nickelodeon would produce a new film through Paramount Pictures with an expected release date sometime in 2012.[4] In late May 2011, it was announced that Paramount and Nickelodeon had brought Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Bradley Fuller and Andrew Form on to produce the next film that will reboot the film series. Bay, Fuller, and Form would produce alongside Walker and Mednick.[5] For the script, the studio originally hired Matt Holloway and Art Marcum to write the film for close to a million dollars. According to TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, the John Fusco version was a little too edgy for what Paramount wanted.[6] A year later the Studio turns to writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec to rewrite the script.[7][8] In February 2012, Jonathan Liebesman was brought in to negotiations to direct the film beating out Brett Ratner.[9] Later in March, it was announced that Paramount had pushed back film's release date to Christmas Day 2013.[10]

The Vietnam War started off just a civil rights battle within the country, but it later intensified to something way bigger. The United States ended up getting involved and it got very serious. The United States did a draft causing many men to go to the war to fight for the Vietnamese people rights. During the time in Vietnam, soldiers had to do many things they didn’t like. An example would be the My Lai massacre. The My Lai massacre was not necessary and it could have been avoided, but since it wasn’t innocent people died and women were raped.
In the book American Sniper, by Chris Kyle there are a lot of very important, life changing situations that he goes through. Some good and some bad. There are some events that stand out more than others. For example when he got his first kill and when he came home from deployment for the first time.
It is not possible to have race without racism. Racism is learned behavior. Individuals that are raised or saturated in an environment with racist ideals will eventually take on those ideas as their own, even without understanding. This behavior can perpetuate itself through generations. Additionally, individuals with little exposure to other races and nationalities may become racist due to their ignorance or through an isolated negative experience with someone of another race. This negative experience may shape how an individual views an entire race. Finally, it is natural for humans to want to categorize people into stereotypes, even if they do not agree or uphold those viewpoints. With exposure and education, these categories begin to expand and overlap, broadening an individuals' views on race.

According to Adam Winkler, “The… thing unique about… rifles is their… look,” which means that these rifles are only intimidating because of their look. That’s not the only thing that is misunderstood of rifles. According to Adam Winkler, “Many people mistake these firearms for machine guns,” which means people think that these guns can fire multiple rounds of ammunition by just pulling the trigger. Military rifles aren’t the only guns killing people. According to Lois Beckett, “ rifles don’t kill the… Americans murdered… handguns do,” which means that the 11,000 Americans murdered each year aren’t necessarily killed with military rifles. In conclusion, it’s only the look of these guns that make them look
Killing centers are facilities established exclusively or primarily for the mass murder of human beings. Today they are know as death camps. They are different than concentration camps, concentration camps were used as a holding camp for all of the outcast. Death camps are used to kill all of the outcast. This is where German police murdered over 2,7000,000 Jews. The first ever death camp was named Chelmno which was opened in Warthegau (which is in a part of Poland) in December 1941. They killed mostly Jews, but also Roma (Gypsies which were people from Rome who traveled into Germany and were considered dirty). The schutzstaffel (ss) considered it to be a top secret thing, but how do you keep the murdering of millions of people secret? You can’t! Almost as soon as they started doing it, the people all over the world heard about it. The thing is, most of the people that lived in Germany followed the rules of Adolf Hitler and didn’t mind that there was millions of people being put to death. To hide all of the traces of gas operation, they had special prisoner units called the sonderkommandos. They were forced to remove the victims of the gas chamber and they will cremate them. The ground of some killing centers were made to be used as a camouflaged to hide the death of millions.
Believe it or not, Jane Got a Gun had a pretty solid hype train a few years back. After all, it landed an Academy Award winning actress in Natalie Portman, not to mention Michael Fassbender and Joel Edgerton. Of course, that was back in 2012 when casting originally took place. And, as you might have noticed – the cast looks a tiny bit different now.
